Some of his stuff is on Simviation. Sometimes atriubitted to LLS, sometimes just a generic name. His reworks of the Alphasim A-3D and B-66 are there, also the AS F-84.

I haven't flown it in a while, so couldn't answer. Having said that, please e-mail Dino. I've checked with him on many things and he is great guy to deal with. I would even recommend posting it at the Indiafoxtecho facebook page. He's on that a lot. He keeps track of bugs, etc for his releases for future upgrades, etc. Ken

I think thats a pretty good attempt DR, you've got the airfield plan down well, The mesh in FS9 is a lot more obvious, and even worse with add on mesh, a lot of sloping polys which i have no skill or interest in :biggrin-new:

Ian, Thanks for this great scenery. I feel your pain regarding Hatston, I tried making it for CFS2 many, many years ago and hit the same snags you did. Had to move the base slightly south west to even be in with a shot!!

Doh! Never-mind. Turns out that when I added the new AC I was putting myself one AC over by current 87 AC limit. For some reason I thought I still had 4 or five empty slots left to play with but it turns out I was right at 87 so adding a new AC got CFS2's nose out of joint. I guess in the back of my mind I was thinking or expecting that too many AC would first generate a "failed to initialize database" message instead of the "failed to generate qc mission" It kinda threw me off. :redface-new:

And the Norseman was, I think my second or third model... EVER! If my computer could run anything more than P3d V 1.4 I'd try learning how to do the PBR textures. Maybe next year with my taxes I can swing a new PC.

This has got to be something really simple but no lights are going on for me. I downloaded FDG2's Installed it into a folder of my choice in my CFS2 downloads folder- not to the default location. Did some tweaking to everything as I always do: renamed the parent folder, changed the title of the AC in the aircraft.cfg file, added a description section to the aircraft.cfg file; aliased the sound to my own particular sound file; aliased the panel to my own particular modified panel folder. Do the same things to all new ACs all the time, no worries.

RNAS Grimsetter (HMS Robin ) and originally RAF Kirkwall Originally an RAF fighter station from 1940 to provide cover for Scapa Flow naval base in the Scottish Orkney isle. Loan'd to the Fleet air arm in 1943 as a satellite airfield for RNAS Hatston airfield which is about 4 miles north as Kirkwall. I originally wanted to model Hatston when i made up the Tirpitz scenery way back in the winter, as Hatston was the original base for many FAA units carrying out attacks on the Tirpitz 43/44, but the stock coast and mesh made that impossable, so i thought i'd just retro the stock Kirkwall instead. You will need both my "RAF Bradwell Bay V2" and "RAF Manston 44 FS9" for the objects

Thanks Brian. I need to back up and just be less detailed in getting certain parts to be a certain color. It would really require that individual parts be textured rather than a swatch of color for multiple areas. As you said, it's 18years old. . .I'm just amazed at how well it has held up over time. You have an FS2000 model that looks great in P3D_V4.5 after all, lol
