    Ha ha made me laugh Huub, both your expression and Taff's can have an altogether other meaning, as you can imagine (please see Blackadder goes fourth!)...if you have a childish mind like mine...;). I think maybe ''right up my mig alley'' might be more appropriate. Thanks for the offer H91, and will shout if need anything.     Thanks Ulrich! Made those changes, even completely redid the ADE. Loaded the sim and the airplane that was set to take off was aligned from the parking spot right onto the taxiway (to kinda give a hint that it was supposed to follow the taxiway, lol). Made no difference, it taxied directly across the taxiway and the runway and headed west across the farm fields, lol It is my humble opinion that at least this airplane is not AI material unless someone can prove me wrong. I'm going to find some suitable AI aircraft (not tail draggers) and be done with it.

    Well, in this case, I am a old Salty Dog, and the "trick" is really a software capability that I wasn't aware of, or (more likely) I was too lazy to try using! I happened upon a AVSIM forum post yesterday that popped up on a Google search for something not even related. Apparently FSDevelopers software, AI Aircraft Editor has a function for renumbering the aircraft.cfg file entries! All these years, I have manually renumbered the entries, after adding new textures. Oh, and apparently there is another older application called "Renum" that will perform the same task. I don't have a link for it, but you can easily locate it in a search. I am probably in the minority of folks who was unaware of the above, but hey, better late than never! NC:biggrin-new:

    The Mirror Landing System "meatball" lights were working fine for me over the weekend. I'm not the world's best Tailhooker. :biggrin-new: I often get an early wave-off for coming in too low, then I go high and walk the ball down. The MLS gave me the lights I expected. Catching a wire went well with all the planes I flew aboard. Catapult operation caused me problems, however. When I hit Shift+I to connect to the cat shuttle some of my planes bucked up and down several times and then rolled backwards without connecting to the cat. If this sounds similar to your "derp" incident with the AS RA-5C, then I got it too. If it happened on the bow cats it also happened on the waist cats. Just thought you'd like some feedback. I've always thought cat operation was the biggest problem with FSX...

    Thank you, Michael! It all helps. As usual, I spend alot of time researching, what I'm doing on wartime Keroman now. One thing I'm trying to find out more on, is the area defences that were in place. On the three (actually four, with the one up river), have the gun stations in place, on the roofs. But, I know there's more, in the area. I prefer to be as accurate as possible, if I'm going through the trouble. I had also made an 88 (flak), and built a handful of the various flak batteries. Think I remember, I have one in the nearby area. As far as 'how big' Keroman is, the base I'm building, it covers the main area, to include most of it. Besides the bunkers themselves, I had to build a groundplace, to meet with the existing shoreline, and create the seawall. The base is on that...

    MCX shows the radius to be 5.25 Update: I have tried increasing (by 1 whole number) and decreasing the aircraft radius and it has no effect. The airplanes come out of their parking spots and go wherever they want to, eventually finding the runway (never the taxiways) after about 25 minutes of wandering. I think I'll set a couple of Cessna's as AI and pretend their Stearmans, lol

    Check the radius of the aircraft model that you are using. I have had this problem before and was able to correct it using MCX.
