Just tried it out in P3D and I get the same result - the hand crank starter/"exciter" isn't working properly as compared to in FSX. With everything set properly, however, I can get it started with Ctrl+E, and then once the hand crank returns to its normal spot, I set the fuel tank selector to its proper/normal running position and set the fuel pump selector to the motor-driven selection.

It is ok as far as one stays out of Internet (itīs bad world out there) after 1/14/2020. MS is ending support for W7. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/windows/end-of-windows-7-support

I think the issue here is Just-Flight's CD DRM/Copy-Protection and compatibility issues during install for Win 10 OS; SafeDisc must be present and running, for the Just-Flight Software Disc install to successfully run; disc is authenticated at the start of install, and if unsuccessful (in the event the DRM service is turned off or absent), the install routine promptly aborts. Also Win7 XP Mode as released for the Professional version and higher doesn't support DirectX/OpenGL graphics and as such was more geared towards businesses dependent on legacy, non-graphical applications; accordingly attempting to load XP or earlier compatible graphics applications in XP mode (virtually) in Win7 will largely fail. Finally, it is often not too unwise a choice, when shopping for off-the-shelf or...

Yeah, could be. As it was a Sunday, there was nobody there to ask. And at this moment I'm in France on holidays, so you'll have to be patient. But when I'm back home I'll go and ask. hertzie.

Could one of our German members suggest what the small biplane might have been which I saw this afternoon (Saturday) over the Moselle between Mehring and Trier? Tiger Moth or Stampe sort of size, little if any sweepback and lighter sounding than, say a Jungmeister.

I'm curious if your cool little package can compile a *.sca file to a *.bgl. This would be for compiling a *.sca file for an aircraft after hand editing. To do this scasm.exe needs to be in your folder and after a couple of attemps I get the same error message "this is a Win 32 application blah blah". I've been attempting this using your DOSBox MDLC Command Line.bat. mdlc.exe /m z.sca Dave

I'm running Windows10 on 3 different PCs/laptops since the release in 2015/2016, never had any major problem. I had my fingers crossed when I allowed Windows10 to install it self and remove windows 7 on my flightsim/gaming PC, but it all went extremely smooth. As it kept running without problems for more than 3 months I decided to do the next one, which was the laptop of my wife. As she doesn't have much special software, this went even smoother. The 3rd machine is my work PC. Although I had some minor issues with some AutoCad based programs, it was all easy to solve. In fact it forced me to update some old software versions, something I should have done a long time ago. We aren't the youngest ones around and I guess we are all a bit reluctant to abandon the old and get familiar...

Hi again To clarify I am referring to the round crank operated switch low on the right side of the of the cockpit. I am given to believe that this switch controls the spark which in turn effects the engine performance. My experience has been that without being able to manipulate this switch after a short period of time the engine begins to run rough and the airplane will not continue to fly - which is a bad thing. Thanks Warren

I need a snooze real bad, but this might help. what about copying your Scenedb world textures into your main CFS2 TEXTURES? This SEEMED to help me with the latest Rami 2 part RAAF campaign. I'd wait for a smarter fella to say if this is a good idea. A smarter fella told me to do this and it worked for me. I'm not sure if it was part of the install instructions and I missed it. Cheers .... Rick EDIT: I see Rami already answered. Yeah, I need a snooze.

Yes, if you can! This past winter I had my confutor reconditioned and added new high speed drives in order to retain Win7pro and avoid updating to any later Windows version. I thought of doing that to save my older XP rig several years ago, but it was too far gone to salvage the OS and it was no longer possible to buy a new copy of XP, so I had to go to Win7pro. I paid extra for the Pro version because it has "virtual XP" that will supposedly run Win XP software that won't run in Win7. It does Not work as advertised. I have tried several old programs from my XP rig and only one of them works in virtual XP. Bah! I envy guys like Papi who have managed to keep their XP rigs running, and I feel bad for those who have had to move to Win 8 or Win10 when I read about all the trouble...

Yeah I just tried to reset my password and got the same dead link. All the categories are also messed up on the site. Under the category X Plane Scenery, they had about 8 aircraft for FSX P3D, and CFS3. A lot of the categories had no products under them, and the New Releases category was showing old products. Hopefully they sort it out.
