The Jetstar was the first project that I tackled after the data loss. The exterior model is well along, and I am working on the VC now. That's a big project but coming along. I'll be putting up a video very soon. Thanks for asking. :encouragement:

Beech 60 Duke (2 x TIO-541) to single-turboprop powered Falcon Duke - Falcon Duke: 1 x 657 shp Walter/Diemech M601D in longer nose No, I didn't cheat and use an image search :pirate: just the long, convoluted permutations of terms and phrases we all love so much. Obvious, tho' how someone else found it in the first place :biggrin-new: BTW, the "Atlas Angel" that is referred to is a turbine conversion of an AL.60 (LASA 60 / Atlas C4M Kudu) and it will have to be OH as I have used up all my "free" time today and must get back to the workbench.

Hello Folks, Thank you Capt. Kurt for clarifying the message link thing! I´m glad you like the Gotha G.V, Typhoon Willy, and thanks for everyone´s motivating comments. The Gotha G.V is to be found in the CFS2 Warbirds Library in the WW1 Aircraft section. I´ve been a bit ill, and also very busy as the rest of our team, preparing a bomb-aimer´s panel for the Gotha G.V Series. Martin Klein and Kdriver have been of great assistance to me, and Ravenna has been busy testing and counselling. Martin set up the panel windows with buttons, and I´ve finally figured out how these windows work in CFS2.

I have to go back there again one of these days - world-class restorations and fantastic displays, and always something new to see. I'm hoping if/when "Dottie Mae" is put up for sale, that the Fagens might pursue it, or have AirCorps Aviation restore a Thunderbolt project for them. They recently placed their North Africa "Desert Shark" P-40E for sale, but to make room for all of the other aircraft that are in the works/under restoration - including another P-40 being done in-house, a Helldiver being done in-house (hopefully to fly by Oshkosh next year), the Hellcat being done at Chino (also hopefully to fly by next year), and another exciting type that I'm not able to mention yet.

Actually, the spoilerons appear to be modeled quite well. They deploy at lower speeds and retract as speed increases after about 200 knots. If you try to deploy them at higher speeds F8 key deploys them but they immediately retract. In unusual attitudes (or aerobatics, think dog fighting), they deploy to retard high angle of attack stalling. Unlike the real F-100C, both sides do not fail to deploy/retract together. This was a real problem which did cause serious and fatal incidents. Probably the reason the F-100D did get flaps.

***Viper Update*** "DCS: F-16C Viper Update As we draw closer to the early autumn 2019 early access release of the Viper, progress has been rapid. You can find a list of our planned early access features here. Our viper is already dropping bombs in CCIP and CCRP modes and strafing targets, and the navigation systems, flight model, and art is quite far along. The current focus is on rockets, air-to-air weapons and radar, the landing gear and underside of the aircraft, and tuning the flight model. Next week we will start regular instruction videos. The first will be a cockpit orientation, and following that will be taxi and takeoff, waypoint navigation, VFR landings, and then unguided bomb attack."

Meshtools 2.5 works fine with Gmax, I used it for years. 3ds Max has the same functionality built in since version 9 or thereabouts. (Gmax is Max version 4 with certain features disabled)

Thanks tarepy. Right, gotcha. Actually, I wasn't thinking those "power" and "fang" symbols were connected to the Tora kanji. But I was thinking that they might be connected to this first tail markings image I posted because they came as close to matching it as anything I had seen while browsing through kanji symbol charts. I was thinking that the tail marking had to represent another idea, another war-like virtue or image as it were. It never occurred to me that it just just stood for the letter "o", lol!
