3 years has passed since this was posted, the challenge to finish was great for my experience at the time, but I went head on and learned everything I could and now I feel like I can finish, not at Piglets level but leaving him comfortable to fly, when converting it turned into a lot of welded parts, but after a lot of work I separated it, added instrument windows, started a mapping of the interior that I could give to the VC

The P-47 and F-16s remain on the list as definites, but with two cracking Spitfires already on their way from Aeroplane Heaven and Flying Iron I'm not sure I'll take mine any further at this stage. I'd like to keep my projects as unique as possible, so a Corsair might represent a good alternative. Still, they're all a long way off at the moment, with Tomcats, Stearman, P-47 and Concorde occupying my time for many months to come.

I have been fascinated and delighted to follow this thread. If I may offer an observation, I THINK that Mal's picture in post 19 is from a different aircraft than the earlier pictures here. The left side banner appears to be folded back on itself, although this is not too obvious because the image is cut off on that side. Also, the two bright spots on that banner are clearly stars in this picture, when the earlier ones seem to be just bright circles. Finally, the aircraft side on which the image was painted appears to have different "fixtures" between the image and the window above it, and the distance between the image and the window seems greater in this photo. Just my thoughts - I could easily be wrong because I am no expert in these matters, but I would love for the final...

Alberto has done some great work with this mod! The model as more or less a full Norwegian setup with RWR, MWS, coms antennas, Emergency beacon and chaff/flare launcehrs. The Norwegian 412s have a custom first section of the cabin door on the right side (small window). This section can detach and slide with the door for winch/fast rope operations. I'll include an all new paint as well Bell 412HP from the 339 Special Operation Aviation Squadron (SOAS) of the Norwegian Special Forces Command. Just some minor adjustments to go and it should be ready for release!

Larry, I know very well how much Garry disliked "what-if" schemes, but I love them - well, some of them, and particularly anything to do with BOAC and BEA. So, please, I like and I want - if you would be so kind, Ro :encouragement:

Klaus - your complete SODE files seem to be missed! There are no Hangar doors, no scenery trees, no walls, no QRA gates and for sure no animations. Please have a look into the manual to get the files running correctly. That stage, you have only half of the airbase working! :very_drunk:

James, none of these missions will run in the BoB install. One issue is the weather.xml files you have chosen aren't in BoB. There are also some other error messages about white spaces etc.

Hello all, The virtual cockpit seems to be fine, except for the radiators blocking the propblurs in the central area, but I haven´t found a way to alter that in the SCASM listing, although it doesn´t bother, so it´s not important. Here´s a screenshot - the co-pilot is saying "Pass me the rum". Now for the SCASM inclusion of the MG structures. Cheers,

What a scenery. Whow. The years of development have paid off. A real highlight. Unfortunately I only found a little time this morning at least once to make a short visit and do a few traffic laps. But I will make up for that and expand it extensively in the next few days.

Not sure how to help with that one Huub, SbuilderFS9 use's stock textures from Scenery/World/texture probably, when making airport background's and i think you've changed yours Edit, try these 2 new bgl's, i dont really like using these texture's, a bit to green for my liking, but it may get you up and running---I can make one up for Larz if these work :wavey:
