While looking through the Aircraft.cfg file I spotted an old Unit. . .my first out of Tech School (Wheelus AFB, 7272nd FMS). It was an active base from the early 50's to 1970 when King Idris was overthrown by Gaddafi. While I was there (66 - 68) the targets were towed by F-100's, so I'm going to guess that the B-57's were used prior to that because I never saw one on the base.

Good morning, I am pleased to report at out of 338 missions tested, only five need to be redone due to CTD errors or other issues. I don't think they're related to corrupted files.

This is as far as I will go with this. I plan to upload this morning. One caveat: The panels I've updated are eye-candy only (non-functional) they are similar to those found in the "57" but not exact so do not spend the first 5 minutes in the cockpit going over every avionics system to make sure everything is exact based on documentation you have in your library. That was never the intent of this work, rather simply to give the Simmer something to see in his/her peripheral that was recognizable ( the originals were so fuzzy they were indistinguishable). My head is still spinning, getting back into this!:dizzy: But, maybe a little help. Some of my CFS3 stuff isn't working, or I've forgotten how it use it, so bear with me. There's a key command, when flying, to look at lat/long coords, where your at. There's a document, something like 'Placing objects in CFS3', that tells all you need to know. I can't send it to you, since my PC has problems going on, and not going to hook up online, until things are right. Just look for that document, and it will answer your questions.

Yes it does look good and I ended up getting the whole 4 sets - all of England, Wales and Scotland. Sadly the Isle of Man and Northern Ireland are not covered, nor are the Channel Islands. I am very impressed with the colours and the Auto Gen placement for VFR even though the buildings are generic as can be seen on St Micheal's Mount and other castles around the country. The only thing that made me hesitate is that there are no seasons (not that England really has seasons - says the Canadian part of me! Ha Ha!!). Still compared to the perpetual snow of the ORBX winter in the south of England that is not that big an issue! Southampton was already on my list of airports for a visit and now Lee-On-Solent is on the list as well! Both are part of my UK2000 package. But it will be a while...

Anyone else pulling wheelies when taking off from carriers? I changed the values shown below and it seemed to solve the problem. I use a formula I got from a post by hschuit SOH-CM-2015 from 2010. I cannot link to the original thread. It is as follows:

That would be nice, although I prefer an updated version of the Dewoitine D.520. I still fly the old model by Jean-Marie Mermaz, which seems to has a timeless external model, but could use an update in the cockpit area.... Who knows what will happen when Shessi reads the thread behind the link below......,34573.12.html?PHPSESSID=dbc1b506e7135ece1b8a585e43d61dfa :biggrin-new: and some images of the IL2 cockpit....
