I tried it myself... but there are certain files missing and/or couldn't be installed without a genuine copy of fsx. To be honest, I was asking a favor for someone to do it for me. Does this clear up the confusion?

Well, maybe, hopefully... I'm almost sure i'm not the only one who simple can't fly this beauty from within this rusty old dustbin... I mean, this is the original FSX Milviz F-86 VC : What's wrong with that ?... It's perfect !! That could've easily been a photo of a real F-86 cockpit ! Why throw that in the ocean for 2 decades and then fish it up and put it in our beloved MSFS F-86 ??!!

OK, I'm getting back into CFS2 after many years on my older win7 machine. I plan on using JSGME for enabling/disabling mod files, I find it works great on pretty much any game, just have to get your mods to look just like the CFS2 folder structure, and remember to disable the mods in reverse order or you can really mess things up.. Anyways, now I remember, many of the aircraft add-ons are not structured perfectly this way, so you have to move files around a bit before putting in the JSGME mod folder... also, almost every jet I have installed so far (about 5 of them) do not work in cfs2 because gauges are missing, they probably come from other microsoft sims and folks are assuming you have all those other jet gauges installed. I did installed the lear45 dummy folder but I think the...

I am glad you had your eureka moment. This will make KNGZ more interesting to fly to and out from. The tetrahedrons look great.

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FS 2004 Other Description: This is a freeware fs2004 "infamous" Tic Tac UFO that amazed all the Navy pilots. It is rumored to be manufactured by Lockheed Skunkworks. It is a simple model "just for fun" version with some animation. It could not have been finished without major help from Andrew Wai. Pilot head textures by George Lindell (sssmokin). And Alpha for the Alpha UFO sounds. For the sounds to work you will have to install the Alpha UFO (included in the TicTac folder). I also included the fsds source file in the tic tac folder in case you wanted to make this fancier.

I haven't seen anything like a revised minimum hardware list for the '24 edition, and Asobo's leadership has stated that "virtually" all '20 addons will be compatible. My guess is that the same hardware will be good, but I'll try to find out over at the official board later today.

One thing I see a lot of virtual pilots doing is retracting the wings on the ground. This is something that NEVER happens with the real bird. The wing pivots don't work that way. The only way to sweep the wings on the ground is to put rolling jacks under the wingtips to support the weight. When the plane exits the runway, the crew retract the flaps and slats, but that's it.
