The first part of this subject was covered many years ago and can be found here: It involved the construction of my Corsair model which was one of my first. In summary, it was recognizing the mistake of going immediately into the build process and spending too little time in basic research. It was a beginner's mistake. My concern at the time was learning Aircraft Factory 99 and my standards for shapes was pretty low. It was a mistake I have made a few more times since then. Some of the projects turned out reasonably well despite the lack of precision or could be fixed or looked pretty good despite the shape errors. Some could not be easily modified and have never been released.

Hi everyone, My old computer died and I have decided to go with a new computer running Widows 10. I know many folks run CFS2 on OS 10. I have the game loaded but cannot get the graphics card "check box" to work. I believe someone had a similar issue a few months back. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, msfossey

Yes the DC3 is coming but nothing (dedicated that is) for MSFS is going to happen quickly. The software development kit and other aspects of the system are not finished. We have stated elsewhere that we will not release anything that is not truly dedicated for this sim and that cannot happen for any dev until the SDK and issues are resolved. :engel016:

This is just beautiful WWI scenery guys. A real joy to fly around and just sight see, particularly the Zeebrugge area. Just right for the Hansa-Brandenburg W.29 floatplane fighter!

Hello, All- For many of the models that I've ported over, I have overcome the same problem with autogen objects not appearing thru the prop disk by simply doing this: open the model in MDLMat, determine which entry applies to the prop disk, and set the alpha to a value of 1 or 2, but not 0. That usually takes care of the problem when porting over to FSX (you still have the good old clouds anomaly, though). Have fun! -Mike Z.

huub vink replied to a thread AI Zero Fighter in Warbirds Library
Pierre, The library is the library. That's where files are stored for collection and like in a real life library we limit the amount of talk here. When you have questions you should post them in the appropriate forum. I understand you are looking for a FS2004 AI Zero. Please post your question in the FS2002/FS2004 forum. I'm sure people there will be able to provide an answer to your question. Thanks, Huub

Not really, most of the staff members over there are pretty well versed in the use of the language of Shakespeare. Their insults are rooted in incredible arrogance and a condescending view on their customer base. They're some of the most unpleasant people I've ever had the displeasure of meeting on the internet. Thank you, kind sir. But you'll have to allow me until tomorrow to find the next brain teaser because I have nothing on the stocks at present. As to William Forbes-Sempill, the Master of Sempill, probably it's a jolly good thing, if you have reference to his doings, that they didn't make any more like him - unless, of course, you're Japanese!

Me too, now that I am back able to use it after the patch temporarily screwed things up for me. I figure in due time we will see many great aircraft models and the scenery is coming in very quickly and reasonably priced.

You didn't confuse yourself, my dear fellow - I did it for you. For some reason I had the Peto much earlier, which was wrong - my apologies. This is indeed G-EBSW, the Bluebird II. This is the original with wooden prop, which was subsequently changed to a Fairey Reed metal airscrew. This may explain the different appearance to some extent. No white flag necessary, only a tribute of sackcloth, ashes, and a glass of poncha from this end......:very_drunk: (By the way, this was flown around the coastline of Britain by Col. the Master of Sempill. They don't make 'em like that any more either.....:mixed-smiley-010: )
