    ....or 'FuGly'....;) When I did the 2D panels I made a point of showing a bit of a 'hole' for the observer post....just to emphasize that the fixed nosegear was fixed for a reason...;)

    It has great flying characteristics things get a bit dicey when you load bombs or wing tanks increasing the weight you have to fly at the right power settings other wise you will blow the motor very realistic a very nice cockpit all gauges are in Swiss but I believe they are going to bring out a international model which will be great A great machine It comes made for FSX FSX-Steam and p3DV4.5

    I got this the other day and been a fan of the Vampire I have found it great as you stated it is a bit pricey but if you like the Vampire go for it did a paint job on it yesterday the first Vampire built in Australia

    Ed, excellent work.. I would imagine that simmers might note that "FG" probably stands for "fixed gear". When using this super model of yours, it's easy to overlook that all bells and whistles aren't available..

    I haven't seen anything about the water described in detail yet and would like to more as well. I've been impressed by the look of the water in the various videos/screenshots put out so-far. I've noticed different wave sizes (heights?), and different wave patterns, and assume the waves are driven by the wind in the sim (based on everything else being incorporated, I wouldn't be surprised in the least if that is the case). This recent shot would suggest that even whitecaps/sea foam is simulated (perhaps one of the procedural-based effects that will appear as you get closer to the water's surface and generated based on the weather conditions/wind).

    This is a minor thing but I have gotten quite a few e-mails from users asking why the landing gear doesn't work. I test mine, it works fine. . .I ask them to send a pic if they can to verify the problem and every time. . .what I get is a picture of the UVP-FG model. . .asking if this is fixable, lol, lol. Just a bit ago I was in the Simviation Forum and a guy was saying how enjoyable the airplane is but the only problem he had was that the gear wouldn't retract. With that. . .I'm amazed at how little attention people pay to the little things, lol. . .complain because a gauge or animation doesn't work but fail to notice that the FG model has an observation position in the nose, Duh. . .eliminating the possibility for the nose gear to retract. Where would you like the gear to go exactly?...
