Most folks have a hobby, like say - flight simulation. :adoration: Some other folk have a hobby horse that they are OCD about, like the name of a flight simulator... :dizzy:

I heard on the news that all but the fire team have been evacuated to shore. I pray for everyone involved.

Our escorts waste no time in tackling the Huns... ...but are unable to stop them clobbering our airfield. The hangars seem to escape the worst of it, but the buildings behind them catch a packet. Bang goes the Officers' Mess, probably. But there's no point crying over spilt gin and tonic. The best we can do is pay back the Huns in kind, like the Spitfires are already doing.

In the end it comes down to balance. Balance of subjects and balance of time. We, unlike most developers, do this work for a living, it's all we do. We also chose subjects we want to do (providing there is some sort of market there) rather than any particular genre. Military and especially warbirds has always been a tricky path to follow because not only is the category small by comparison to GA, it is sub-divided into very subjective areas. If you can afford to do it and make a profit, commercial development of military and warbirds can be most rewarding. Sadly, if other matters like putting food on tables is more of a priority, GA and Commercial is probably a better prospect. As the World's military and manufacturers of their hardware become more litigious, we will undoubtedly see...

Yes agreed Dave. Wish it had Full fidelity 15C. Regarding FS2020 and military add-ons....I sure hope so. I've heard rumors that it might not support some features which would make certain Military add-ons not doable. I'm hoping that what I've heard will be worked out and that functionalities will be added. I'm with most of you. My passion is military add-ons. I

This happened last night, after taking off the aircraft would suddenly go into a spin and crash. I was testing a couple of older FS9 legacy aircraft, first Tim Conrad's (Piglet) Helio Courier and all seemed to go well with it displaying shadows outside and in the VC as I have Steve's DX10 Fixer. I took off, all good climbing out, then all of a sudden it was tumbling and spinning around like crazy. I had no idea what was happening there, I thought perhaps it might be a bad airfile it has. Bummer. I had to end the flight as nothing would stop it except the slew which would put it back on the ground. Thought it was weird. Decided to try the FS9 Carenado C182Q with its fsx update and the same thing happened. I restarted FSX, nope same thing happened, restarted the PC, nope same thing...

Very interesting and CRG, I think it was #stayathome also BUT you did a lot of models in the last few months (and many developers was sleeping a little in the same time ;) ).... Nice to hear it and keep good work.

Yeah no kidding a mystery, usually I have no trouble eventually figuring this stuff out, but not this time, all files and folders are where they are supposed to be, I'm stumped.

59 Squadron, Newton, morning, 15 July 1940 Once again, only anti-shipping missions are on offer, so I accept one that's more or less due south, on a course that will take me over enemy-held territory. Which I will bomb - somewhere around Reading, if only because it's a prominent town that I know to be just inside enemy lines. After last time, I pay a bit more attention to the tab in the briefing that tells me about the escort. There's only six of them, but they're Spitfires. Thank goodness!

While my aircraft are not study sim, I can safely say that I have a new SR-71 coming for P3D and FSX. I too look forward to a study level SR-71 and would've bought it on day one - still will if they release it, but just saying there's another option coming for anyone who wants it. Details and screenshots on my Facebook page. One thing that DCS is missing Rick is a full fidelity F-15C.

Found it. At the bottom of the page you can set how many to display (under Thread Display Options), but it resets itself each time you return to the forum. It seems that the thread display is different if you go to another discussion? Maybe its my imagination. Anyways, it doesn't matter. The FSX General Discussion is the most important to me. :playful:

Thanks, I did actually find it. I don't have a Sim computer, so can't test it. In the aircraft folder do you show all 4 model folders? F8E, F8J_Marines, F8J, and F8J_FrenchNavy? Also showing the 4 different texture folders? 2 different panel folders? Just trying to make sure that you have no missing pieces. Might be easier if you can show a screenshot of your opened aircraft folder. Looking at the download, everything looks fine! Others said it worked for them. Mystery!

USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) Carrier is on fire at San Diego Naval Base. The fire is midship in the hangar deck. There are reports of injuries but no further information at this time. I hope and pray no lives were lost and for the safety of the responding fire crews from the base and SDFD.

What an effort and extreme details on an aircraft which is extremely rare (the "Zwilling", not the Dominie :biggrin-new:). I really price that highly because each aircraft other than a Cessna 172 or Boeing 737 is more than welcome to me...Great project!:applause:
