No mods. Straight stock model file, config and air. I actually re-installed both the model and air files, and verified the config file line by line with the original. I didn’t try the other T’s because they’re not installed. As a test I did substitute the modded A/B air but it made no difference with the hook. So I think that eliminated the air file as the problem. Guess I’ll load the H and P and see if it works with those models. I think it may be that my copy of Vol 2 is corrupted. Steve

If you add them using JSGME then you can easily extract them again if something goes wrong.

The third bit of news is that work on the Battle of Normandy is progressing, not only in terms of creating new aircraft but also in other directions. For instance, a lot has already been done in creating the map which will include some promising new technologies for our series. But it’s still early and we plan to show the progress on the development of the map later. Additionally, aircraft crews are also being created and as you already know, the G-suits worn by USAAF pilots appeared after the events of the Normandy, and therefore we created a model of an American pilot in an earlier uniform: And in FIRST for the combat-sim genre - the U-2VS, Yak-1 Series 69 and Yak-1b series 127 aircraft will receive a Soviet female pilot option! We have completed the process of animating the new...

The second thing that we will show you today is important for the owners of all products in the IL-2: Great Battles series. We are talking about a new map! The new “Velikiye Luki, Summer 1941”, will be made available to everyone in the next update. This map was developed on a personal basis by one of our map team-members, and although it does not include all of our most modern map tech (such as buildings with increased detail), thanks to the creativity and variety of the implemented terrain and scenery, it looks extremely interesting and will add a lot of variety in your flights. The Velikiye Luki summer map, as well as an improved and updated winter version, will be available to all players. A lot could be written about the positive aspects of this map, but it seems to us that it is...

Hello! Have you heard about wave interference? It’s amazing when the processes in people’s lives have direct physical analogies. In particular, how topics for our journal entries appear is a good example. In the development of projects of the IL-2: Great Battles series, there are a lot of very voluminous and lengthy tasks. And sometimes it happens that the intermediate results of different large tasks appear one by one, creating a subject for the diaries. Sometimes it happens that the “wave” processes of development progress in all directions and it gets to a stage when the intermediate results cannot yet be published, but sometimes it also happens that in all directions at the same time appears something that can be gladly demonstrated. And exactly this variant of “superposition of wave...

Good evening, Here ya go: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?action=jump&catid=52&id=14046 Morton's readme indicated where the file was before the server crash years back. Just remember when using the search engine "username" in the library, look for fdgv2.

If an invisible aircraft elevator could be attached in MDCx then that just might work. Worth trying. At worst we won't be any worse off then we are now getting the seaplane back on the catapult of at least the deck. Interesting concept.

Hi pomme homme:very_drunk: Indeed the Model 1002 by Leonard C. Elmendorf. Built by using parts/components of 2 salvaged Cessna 182 Skylane aircraft and apparently nicknamed Myline by the builder. Your turn, please

Imagine an invisible aircraft carrier elevator that extends just below sea level, when raised it could swing over the deck, then drop down a bit. Not easy admittedly.

Did you do any mods to the TA7-C like swap out the mdl file, edit the aircraft.cfg or make changes to the air file? I assume the hook lowers on the other T models?

Rob Davis1 day ago I can well believe this story. The late Mike "Lancaster At War" Garbett was a very good friend of mine and he told me that amongst many thousands of aircrew interviews which he conducted, one related to an officer based at an un-named Midlands or Cambridgeshire aerodrome. This officer, who had an excellent Squadron operational record, told Mike that there was a gap in his wartime RAF time for which he could not give details. The officer added that once a year he would receive a personal visit from "men from a certain London department" who would carefully quiz him about any approach which might had been made to him about this mysterious time, and caution him never to give any information on the matter.Mike's opinion about this was that the unit involved was...

It would be fun to have some planned multiplayer events for STOL challenges. There are already three aircraft included in the full package that are fantastic for short landings/takeoffs, and then the addon Kitfox besides. It's neat seeing X-Plane developers crossing over into the new MSFS, and quite easily it seems. It was posted somewhere recently that you can export directly from Blender for this new MSFS.

All-right you men, settle down and listen up! Anybody know where I can lay my hands on this file: FDG v.2 P-47d-23, aka FileID=2289? The FileID is from the link provided in the readme from Morton's P47d_56FG skin-pack for same: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/index.php?lloc=downloads&loc=downloads&page=info&FileID=2289 But it is no longer a functioning link.
