Hello, Now that Kevin released his package, I was able to release Captain Kurt's airfield package that was being held back, because with this package, some of the GSL work overlaps with Achim's France North airfield package, and Kevin's airfield and scenery package. All three packages contain only one or two AFD files which contain all of the airfields in them, and no longer have individual .bgl files. This helps to prevent the sim from being "overloaded" with too many airfields. Just make sure to delete any old versions of these airfields first. The install order should be... 1) JHS_France_North 2) CK_France_airfields

Good evening, Here is the update for Achim's airfields... This package has been updated on 31 May, 2020 to include six new airfields created for the upcoming Battle of France - Part II release: Caen-Carpiquet, Chateaudun, Damblain, Dinard, Le Mans, and Nantes. This airfield package has also been modified to use one AFD file for France North which covers all fifty-one airbases, rather than using individual AFD files. This is specifically to counter the limitation of the sim, that can only process between 200 or so AFD files in one installation. Abbeville, Athis, Audembert, Azeville, Azeville (Reserve), Beauvais, Biscarosse, Boissy-le-Bois, Bordeaux, Bourges, Brest, Brest Seaplane, Caen, Caen-Carpiquet, Calais, Cambrai-Forenville, Cambrai-Haynecourt, Charleville, Chateaudun,...

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Scenery Add-Ons Description: This is a package of sixteen airfields in France from the 354th FG, Battle of France, and Jagdgeschwader 11 campaigns. It includes Beille, Bretigny-sur-Orge, Chartres, Chelles-le-Pin, Cricqueville, Dammartin-en-Goele, Echemines, Etain_Rouvres, Etampes-Montdesir, Gael, La Ferte-Gaucher, Orconte, Perthes, Rosieres-en-Haye, Vitry-en-Artois, and Vraux. I created these fields with Rami’s ETO setup, using Sander de Cocq's Eurw area and Euro_Textures, as well as his coastlines and feature pack (the whole set) and on Rhumbaflappy’s mesh. They are made to complement the Achim airfield sets. Rami and Kdriver were instrumental in this update to these airfields. Kdriver removed the API objects and...

I always modify the pilotconstants and pilotattributes, giving higher vision, health, gtolerance and experience to my wingmen. In this way the AI perform better and are less frustrating. In pilotconstants it is possible to change the vision ranges etc for each level (novice, veteran, ace etc) and even to create new categories (eg. numpty) but thats a bit tricky :biggrin-new:. If you check my post on the sticky thread on Upping the Ante, there is a more detailed description.

Hi Folks, Here's the next, a Dornier Do 217 E4 medium bomber. I know it won't be on the top of any lists, but this was such an important Luftwaffe ac, and apart from the old CFS2 Do217 (I've based this on), no one has done a Do217E model for Fs9 before. So I thought it was time... Load of details etc. With the testers at the moment. Cheers Shessi

Thanks Manfred, Just an update. I replaced the original mon.xml file as you suggested but I am afraid the issue unfortunately persists although the repetitive call out this time was different - "on centreline, on glidepath". Incidentally both APC and PAR had a reading of zero as soon as I opened the monitor and, as might be expected with these readings, clicking the clickspot on the FS serial number didn't make any difference. The titles in each of the respective models sim.cfg must be the same so you’d need to amend one of them to allow the differentiation.

Thanks for bumping that topic, I realize I forgot to reply to Dimus after he provided me the advice about setting three units of nose-down trim for takeoff. That did the trick quite nicely indeed, and I had for the first time a smooth takeoff with an aircraft that was not desperatly attempting to perform a Cobra each and every second : The plane did reply to input quite nicely. So thank you Dimus for the advice :) Navy Chief, I can confirm the Milviz Phantom is also very, VERY sensitive to control inputs on my side. It's just a matter of getting used to it. Once you know it, suddenly the plane becomes much easier to handle. And I really like to start it cold&dark. Even in VR it's easy enough, the needed controls are all accessible. The only thing is the nose-wheel-steering, I have...
