Hi Mick. It looks like a VERY light gray or white to me. I found these great period photos here: The version I have was Repainted by Jean-Jacques Parel. Both wings are the same color here though. I didn't see your skin, was it here? I D/L the plane from here:

That screen shot (if it is a screenie???) looks like the bottoms of the top wing are light gray, as they should be. Or does it just look like that in the image because the the lighting and shadows??? I ask because back when Mike first released it, I painted it in pre-war Coast Guard colors, and in the process I found a fatal mapping glitch. It was impossible to paint the upper wings yellow without having one of the undersides turn yellow, so the only way to avoid an a symmetrical paint job was to paint both the top and bottom of the upper wing yellow. Drat! This was near the end of Mike's model making - or at least model sharing. I popped him a message on his web site alerting him to the glitch but one of his buddies intercepted it and replied, telling me that the glitch...

Would anyone be aware off or be willing to do a USN/USCG skin for Mike stones Hall PH-3 flying boat? Just read a very nice article of this aircraft in "AIR CLASSICS" magazine. The only one I can find is for Avionic Aéronautique!

Up next will be the Microsoft PC-6 mod: Features engine, flight dynamics and ground handling improvements. Fully compatible with all third-party liveries. Includes Wheels, Skis and Amphibian versions. The amphibian is slightly slower in the air, but has much improved water handling. Simply drag and drop the "tiger's pc6 mod" folder into your Community folder.

LOL !! Found the FS9 model and ran it through the MCX Transform-matic into a P3Dv4 exterior model. Then I merged the Carenado B200 VC and presto. Well the prop animation needs a fix but otherwise not too bad for a few minutes work! Just need to look straight ahead in the VC and not at the wing mounted PT-6's ..

.... does anyone know of a sound file for a plane that utilizes twin Nakajima Sakae 21 engines utilized in the A6M2B. I know that I can Alias to the old Zero but that is a single engine. I tried to make a double out of that and really screwed it up.:redfire: Any help appreciated !

I mean, installing this won't prevent you from using MAIW later. I'll happily run this for now, and if MAIW is ever able to deliver, I can switch then.

MAIW are collaborating with AIG who do airliner AI, it seems to be done in principle but not in need to read their forum, the Home page news is well out of date - that plan was scuppered by an MSFS SU.

You're right, Priller. Do you remember the first steps with ship AI in MSFS? And now what an incredible realistic AI is vivifying this sim?

I'm already in the sim, but I do prefer to wait for decent military AI before installing any AI. The effort of these guys is commendable, but they're not there yet IMHO. Just my two €cents worth. Priller
