Just as an aside - for those that don't know, Ed Walters (Plane Design) is now part of the very successful Spacex team in the US. No doubt he's still using some of his flightsim skills !

Thank you for your kind offer but the one readme I found from Peter Brun of liderdesigns says that we cannot do anything with his model without his express permission and after spending some time this afternoon there was no luck contacting him so I am going to use the model as it is. It works perfectly in FSX. I have a contact that I am going to send a test package to to see if it works in P3D and what versions. I know it will not work in MSFS. With that being said, I will probably be ready in a few days to give out a beta copy to test to the FDE designer and a couple simmer friends who test for me and get their feedback.

Thanks very much, August ! :encouragement: Didn't think about the generic FSX wav files sofar but more important i completely forgat about the layout.json... :stupid: My excuse it's the first time i venture onto this slippery slope ( i just replaced the sound department of the Tigermoth Pro's layout.json and folder with that of the freeware version, worked right away) Wondered a bit about "rebuild layout.json" initially but got a "MSFSLayout Generator" so i figure all clear now. Thanks a lot again ! :applause:

I've done all that - multiple times. I found a thread on their forum about this that the user said was resolved by installing the latest Central. I replied to that stating I have the latest version but it still won't install. Edit: I figured it out - you actually have to configure the app. I thought it would just connect to your account over the web and do its thing...

I logged into my Orbyx Central account and opened the 'North America' map / category...down at the bottom of the list of available airports is the free airfield - you have to click on it to see the features and then instead of a price it just says 'free'

How did you get this installed? It's not in the Marketplace, so I tried their site. Manual download gives a 404 error, so I installed their "Central" program. I tried installing from there and it spit out yet another error.

I'm not comparing sims. I would love to see heavy weather ship handling in MSFS. A while back I was part of a project that designed and placed moving ships in FS9 with external control modules where you could modify pitch and roll. Developed for the US Navy to test different landing light patterns for flight decks it was an absolute blast. If you've been onboard a ship in bad weather, remember the moment!

I agree - it is actually very good - not perfect but more than does the job, I think of it as an old monochrome radar which it would have been anyway - colour radars did not come in until well into the late 1960's or 70's. Very clever bit of work by Bjoern. Might not have gain or tilt control but its fine by me.

Grey Eagle - I replaced the GPS guage on the VC01 panel config entry with this gauge as per Bjoerns install notes. Used the same position coordinates that the GPS for the placement and the size as well, all you need to change is the gauges or go // to keep the old entry and create a new one based on that. I currently have no PC due to the power supply failing otherwise I would copy you the relevant panel entry, sorry no sim for me for a few weeks.

I've only had one or two CDT's in the last couple of months, and I'm running the offline AI. Maybe it's because I'm doing relatively short flights, but I'll just keep on keeping on until Asobo can produce their fix.

I'm more a fan of native planes, but I figured I'd try the Legacy Converter out on the Flight Replicas Bf-109Z I'd purchased for P3D right about the time I mostly stopped flying P3D. :) Worked really well for the most part! Instruments, transparency, and systems all seem good. Feels a bit underpowered and it's squirrely on takeoff, but that could probably be tweaked.

called OG20 Fairways Airport located in Oregon State features a grass strip and an eclectic, disorganized collection of hangars and parking areas.. not easy to spot from the air, but given time...

hello, need a goose expert- cannot trim out the rudder,,, if rudder set to 0.0 at speed goose veers off to the right, changing rudderr to minus o.5 the aircraft veers to the left...tried many variants of rudder trim but the ac just will not lift off in a dirct line....must be be an answer or maybe another download ? everything installed very nicely into the community plus the update file. .. i have the goose running in fsx and its a lamb to fly lifting off from the ground or water.. ken in ro foxed ? was a raf driver of heavier stuff, its a shame there are as yet no hercs or c17s or a400 even as yet for 2020, also from where is a download for the earlier goose, wanting to put the raf paint.. hope someone may help with my 2020 goose rudder prob... Anyone have team viewer, who would care...
