Thank you, Uli, for the compliment -but I've never claimed to be an authority on flying boats - I just love them ! The reason I pounced on this one is that I immediately recognised it from my treasured 1931 Jane's. Jane's are not immune to mistakes either - but in this case I think they are right ! A far as I can determine, the 270 and 271 were earlier efforts, with open cockpits for a crew of 2. There is a photo on the Russian Airwar site http://airwar.ru/enc/flyboat/fba270.html

Mike, this is another testimony of your expertise in the floater theme. :icon29: According to Aviafrance you are correct. Nevertheless, l’Aeronautique has published this under the type number 271 in 1931. We know that’s France :playful:

"Btw. Is it possible that admin/mod can change name of this topic? Not Vides but Videos, "o" was missing. Sorry." When I first saw "Vides" YoYo I googled it along with using other search engines as I could find but all to no avail. I initially thought that perhaps this was something new with MSFS and I better learn all I could about it but alas...I learned alright...lol...

Hello to all campaign experts, I recently found on one of my ages old CDs some missions from CryingToto. They pick out themes from the Med theater like Anzio, reconquering Corsica and Operation Dragoon. There is also some scenery available. Was anybody aware of these missions? I took a closer look to them, but my capabilites with mission building are quite limited and some of the scenery does not work (CTD). Unfortunately, the old website does not work anymore, so I do not have more information than the archived files.

High altitude Cirrus clouds seem to be missing in all of the preview videos. Has anyone seen them? I would think they would be a common render in any weather generator.

Thank you for the wonderful airplane! It looks amazing and flies great. Also for that important tip about the CONTACT before starting. I added a note to the kneeboard reference file so I'll remember. By the way, currently the kb_reference and kb_checklist lines in the aircraft.cfg are not set to point to the files you provided. I have never had an aircraft quite like this in P3D before. It reminds me of the floatplane fighters from the old pulp stories, Bill Barnes and the like. Very fun! August

Here is video of a belly landing in the Bonanza with crash damage on. When it shows the nose-over in the XCub, if damage is turned off, it will continue to show the aircraft tipping over on its nose, or its back (if the velocity is there) - the physics all play out, just like in reality, and you're left with the aircraft however it ends up.
