Thank you both for your prompt reply. Stansdds, I tried reducing the scenery loads, using the Custom function, and though there seemed to be a slight improvement, much scenery detail was lost. Falcon 409, like you I am using the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick, and the initial basic specs are as follows. Windows 7 Home Premium S.P.1, System rating 7.3. Processor AMDFX(tm)-8150 Eight Core Processor 3.60 GHZ. R.A.M 16GB. System Type 64-bit operating system. I mentioned specific developers effected, Carenado, Milviz, and Just Flight. Not all of their aircraft are effected though: for example Carenado's King Air 200 is fine, but the Shorts 330 and 360 are effected, as is the Citation II, and the Fokker F50. None of A2A's Aircraft, StratoCruiser, Constellation,B17,P47, are effected,...

Also, the famous Israeli scenery designer named Bar Rodoy made lots of Israeli air force bases so if you google his name, maybe you can find air force base sceneries?? Or use his name on avsim and flight sim??? Regards, Aharon

I'm adding to my expensive bag of photography 'must have' kit shortly. After much deliberation and consultation with people who are far more photo savvy than myself I'm pulling the trigger on a low light lens...... :devilish: Sofie is away for several weeks so I'm feeling quite safe! I'd really like a decent wide angle lens as well, fortunately we have a couple '99.99% certain' buyers for two of our rebuilds, my cut of the sales should cover everything. :triumphant:

If you are member of Facebook, go to IsraSpotting Virtual Aviation Division Group and post that question there. You will get answers there. I do remember there are quite few FSX compitable Israeli air force bases but do not recall where so the Facebook group that I suggest to you will likely give you answers. Do you have Israeli air force liveries for Captain Sims C-130?? Sorry about underline but there seems to be malfunction on my writing on this post :dizzy::dizzy::dizzy:

@Richard - excellent livery! This was one I was waiting for... I planned to do it myself initially, but was a lot of work in itself...While it is not the primary reason why I did the Scooter, the sheer number of flamboyant liveries this aicraft had was one of the deciding factors...

Thanks for that! I sort of figured that was the case, since we have folks here who still use XP (how I envy them!) and, well, they're still here using XP and their confutors seem secure. But it's a relief to hear it from Norton. I missed my chance to retain XP when my last confutor died suddenly and completely after it was too late to find a clean copy of XP. I lost the use of some software in the transition. I spent extra to get Win7pro because it has virtual XP, only to find that virtual XP doesn't really work as advertised. But it works well enough to run a couple of FS utilities that won't run in Win10, and there are a couple guys who have to ask me for help with certain things that they can't do for themselves on their projects in Win10. Eventually I will get Win10 on a...

I ditched BBLean that had replaced XP's and 7's desktops for me shortly after 10 was released. The quick access, tiled, customizable start menu is just too good and exactly what I really liked about Windows Phone/Mobile as well that had a customziable start screen and a second page for everything else. Easy, simple, clean. Now if only they'd merge the control panel into the settings menu...

The problem may be in your computer specs which you didn't mention. I run a very modest system as you can see in my signature below. I have no problems running any of the addons you mention and I also use a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick. Let us see what your specs are and maybe we can find what the problem is.

Correct, my code does NOT remove them. For the new dynamic reflection to be visible an object must be quite reflective. It was originally implemented to prevent gauges with shiny glass from reflecting terrain that shouldn't be visible through the cockpit. The reflection is not 100% accurate, but good enough unless you are specifically looking for inconsistencies. Unfortunately any aircrafts behind you are not reflected and this feature cannot be used for useful mirrors. There's also a subtle but very useful side effect of these reflections. Even if a surface is not shiny it still reflects at certain angles (Fresnel effect). Previously it could cause bright outlines around objects deep inside the cockpit as they were reflecting the environment. Now it should look more natural (but...

Wow! Actually quite a lot of flightsim stuff for the Spectrum, huh ! I gave up on it because of the lent C64 and my own Atari ST ( bought it because of a Flight Simulator II version for this machine which had much better graphics compared to the C64) Beside 'Nightflite' i remember one game i had for the 48k : Manic Miner. Hilarious and extremely addictive ! :D And one thing more about Nightflite : hey, future Flight Simulator flyers, put this in your pipe and smoke it : https://youtu.be/73u95S6fE8Q :mixed-smiley-010:

I would start here: https://www.freewarescenery.com/fsx/israel.html Scroll down the page for 8 additional sceneries at that site. Here's another: https://www.freewarescenery.com/maps/scenerymap.php?country=israel&sim=FSX Click on the multi-colored markers on the map of Israel and links pop up to many other Israel sceneries. Use search times like "FSX Israel Air Bases scenery" in your search engine (minus the quotes of course).
