In my FSX.cfg have this setting but it's not working for D18's VC. This VC with 3 .bmp files is differently built? Francis

Really like that one Henk. I started to do that scheme and had the Dragon redrawn, then lost interest in it and deleted everything I had done. Kinda wish I hadn't done that but at least it can still be had by someone else.

Oh, found a site that has catalogs of USAAF gauges used in RAF lend lease planes. It is late war so some of the early stuff is missing, but it has great pictures and all the dimensions. So now I can properly size the gauges. Woot so much fun. Do pobachennya!:ukraine:

Yes making a A-20 Havoc II for the TOW add on James and I are working on. It will cover the nightwar from the Blitz until the great 1000 plane raid. Milton Shupe gave me his P70 and I have been making it an A-20. He is the guy who gave me the beaufighters too (great person!). The beaus are nearly there need to update pits and it seems we have 11 of them ETO/MTO :dizzy:. The Manchester will be off to Rob for his treatment in a day or so. Then it is finish the stirling pit (won't be a good as what you can do but I'll try:a1310:) I have tried to label trim levers and supercharger controls in the newer models so if this point and click thing works..... TaTa! Oh the Havoc had 12 303's in the nose when it fires it looks like a flare. Would not want to be on the receiving end of all...

Interesting you would say that. I uploaded to Simviation and Flightsim around 9:30. I left to run some errands around town and when I got back Simviation showed 106 downloads and Flightsim another 44. I don't see how Simviation have that many, but that's what it showed.

I feel like I've asked this before, so my apologies if I have, but can someone tell me the aircraft folder names of the B-17s present in a clean ETO install? I've messed with mine a lot! Also, what is the etiquette for releasing standalone versions of aircraft? I've got two new skins that for various reasons might be better released as clones, but I certainly don't want to upset anyone.

Mick, I completely understand. Normally, these are usually updates where the original uploader is long since departed from the sim world. But even with active members, this usually isn't an issue. In the world of cyber security, I appreciate users that are hyper vigilant. As I said in the PM, I think these files of yours were originally uploaded as part of the SOH library restoration project years back after we had that massive server crash. The cattle call went out to upload all files which users had either uploaded themselves or had backed up and uploaded on behalf of other users to restore the files. It was then my job to go in and match the upload to the user; these two files looked like part of this effort.

I did a search for USAAF WWII gauges, as the Air Force was known as back then. Came up with pics of some, if you click on the pictures, might take you to a site with better descriptions of them. https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=ACYBGNTsa7eFWxV9bUnVZt5nSOYv_1ysEA:1576086043709&q=USAAF+gauges+used+in+World+War+2&tbm=isch&source=univ&client=firefox-b-1-d&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi_55SGkq7mAhWJdt8KHX7uABQQsAR6BAgHEAE&biw=2498&bih=1006

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FS 2004 Military skins - General Description: Four skins for the Aeroplane Heaven model of the Grumman XF5F-1. A 1941 skin depicting the plane in pre-war Navy livery. A 1942 skin depicting it in early WW2 camouflage and markings. A skin in early 1943 camo and markings, although by then the plane had been modified with a new nose and no longer looked quite like the model.

Yep, I just did that. I guess Rami must do the librarian thing before they show up on the download page. I was about to add a comment that one reason I was primed to be annoyed by what appeared to be someone using my identity - as if that wasn't annoying enough - is that no long ago someone dug out something I'd uploaded myself a long time back and re-uploaded it under their own name. Even though I've pretty much stopped worrying about piracy of freeware, that sure was annoying!

It enhances only Global areas. “Full fat” regions are not affected.

If, as I think I have read, LC uses new tiles, does it make any difference to the existing "full fat" regions, such as England, or only to areas using default or Orbx Global?

Yes I know this probably seems a tad anal, but I though it was worth pointing out. As far as I can make out, included in UT's latest releases are around 42 permutations of the Bristol Beaufort! Not too shabby, eh? Here is a list of all the AC I ended up with (showing the folder names I gave them). It is alphabetical as far as the make and mod are concerned. Beyond that it is a tad less well sorted
