@Yoyo - I have version 1.0.0 instaled, with all of its flaws. I looked on the BBS website, couldn't find any mention of an update. Where can I find that patch?

The Sparrows are really not that high on the list as so few users have expressed any interest either way - AIM-120s seem to be enough for the vast majority. It's a surprisingly difficult task to add an entirely new missile and the coding to make them appear when and as they should. Looking into it soon though, once the Super Hornet updates are complete.

This is by, the probably nearly defunct, FCS. They brought us the very nice Wellington (the texs were quite extreme though) (I bought), followed up by one of the most atrocious pieces of sim software I have ever seen..their Sunderland (which I also bought, and immediately regretted doing so). And they then issue this model, and no one saw the wing strut issue!! Thier product quality control and testing is abysmal, I'm quite shocked that, as a commercial company, they can do this sort of thing??!! Mind you when I did re-vamp Alphasim's Catalinas I discovered that the wing struts were also not actually modelled attached to the fuselage...dohhh!!, so even the great and the good can get it wrong. I'm just surprised these sim model companies don't come here or other flight sim forums...

And this is where I checkout for the third time. Three times I have tried to get into CFS3, and every time I have had to give up because of the piecemeal approach that this group adopts. It starts with the basic install guides for the MAW, RS and other campaigns, which begin with instructions to create a new install in the default location. Years later, people quote the very good advice that installs should not go in to the default location, but the install instructions are never updated to reflect this. Then there are the new updated models of planes like my beloved Spitfire. To install this I need other downloads as well as the new release. Why cannot everything be included in one simple to install download ? You keep complaining that there are very few new members to this...

That is why the ropes are there................... And that's most probably why this plane ended as a monoplane :a1310:

One more for the Squids-glazing issues aside this works fairly well, but it does tend to show it's age.

Thanks for this, we have built up a 2 seater version of the Impala, using a real fuselage, at Cape Virtual, our Virtual Aviation club at Ysterplaaat Air Force Base (FAYP) here in Cape Town.

Thanks for all the updates. If I may make a suggestion.. It's great watching a video and trying to see the before & after effects, but is it possible to have a before & after picture? I'm not ungrateful at all, but sometines it's a bit more effective & easier to see with a picture. Many thanks.

You don't need to be logged in to access the file library. You do for some areas of the forum, but the main download library is open for all. The link does work, but I've sent the OP a direct link anyway so he now has the Mossie.

There's already been one patch released today, to fix the switch issues. Looks like the author's going to do a nice job supporting the plane. I got it and I'm pretty happy with it. Lots of cool warbird paints. I think the interior looks pretty good, other than the non-working mirror:

Got it first thing when I got home from work. Looks real nice, flies great! I like that there's some functionality at the FE panel without going study level and the VC is great. My only dislike are the AB effects but that's a personal preference and we can do something about that. I really like Guzman's AB effects and will try them in the DC Concorde. (I actually swap AB effects quite a bit. My Aerosoft Lightnings all use the AB effect from the Alphasim Lightning.)

There have been tons of official announcements from both sides (Renault and himself), even official pictures from him visiting Renault's F1 factory wearing an official Renault firesuit... That's far more than speculation at this point!
