Fun little flier. The folks on the official MS forum are pretty down on the texture resolution in the cockpit -- expectations are set really high with MSFS in the visuals department.

Thanks for the offer. This may be the same manual as mentioned in message #80. Definitely looking for a better copy with clear, sharp photos and drawings.

Thank you DVJ...sometimes just the right combination of aircraft/scenery makes it very easy.

The screenshots are nice but I am absolutely thrilled at the scenery!! I can't wait to send this to my friends and fly there. We are there for real the entire week, every year. Thank you for pointing it out!

Youtube and my brother sucked me into DCS. The immersion looks fantastic. My current computer is a 7 year old, upgraded to the stops potato, but I have another machine coming soon that should run DCS nicely. I have the Thrustmaster 16000M HOTAS. Looking forward to much fun when I get my new machine.

Hi dl, Sorry to report that a.o. real-life priorities and shifted interrests (like the new MSFS) are reasons that no further update (== Rel. 1.2) should be expected for this FSX/P3D F4 conversion project. Personally, I regret that very much. But I do understand (and respect, with highest regard) the choices made by JP and Ulrich. They are both great guys. I had a great time last year working with them, in adding some stuff (in Rel. 1.1) to this wonderfull project. I have some new updates wrt. Multiplayer visibility and FDE drag (weapons/chute) prepared, but without the required modifications in the visual models to match them (which I can't do myself). these are void ..... Also, please understand that getting everything right (within the constraints of the original package)...

The hospitality of the flight crews are spectacular. The first time the An-124 visited EAA in '89 it showed up the Saturday before the show. As members my Dad and I were able to get on the show grounds as we already had our weeks passes. They had the 124 parked on the taxiway off of 18-36 and were letting people just go wherever in the plane. I was in the pilot's seat (and my Dad was in the co-pilot's seat when one of the Russians came to my seat. I started to get up but he patted my shoulder said "No, stay.", reached across me for something (I assume it was the parking brake) and we started rolling! They had hooked up the tug and were towing us into the plaza with my 14 year old butt in the pilot's seat! We hung around outside while the two Su-26 aerobatic planes were unloaded.

The NAS Key West scenery is great. I picked it up after seeing Dino use it in his screenshots. :)

Downloading now. I also just picked-up Skydesigners' NAS Key West scenery (I had been waiting for the T-45 to drop first). Really looking forward to experiencing these addons together this evening. This video was also just posted today, providing a first look over of the T-45, as well as running through the startup procedure: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZPPbtQCFZ4
