    Of course I had to run a few races in pCARS! Decided on a new drive this time round,the Ginetta is not that quick in a straight line but it fits through small gaps and brakes rather well! Best weather effects and the prettiest eye candy of them all.

    In my ETO in every ERA when in QC and I try to hit the location button the game crashes. My actual location is Folmere which is present in all ERA. I tried deleting the uisel.xml but it does not solve the issue. ANY help would be appreciated.:wavey:

    Love the 962C, it understeers and is as stiff as a board (just like a real one!) and it sounds like the real deal. My only complaint is the lack of the familiar BBS wheels used on 99% of the customer cars, the factory ran Speedlines (with wheel covers) most of the time, but the Gold 'Basket Weave' BBS were almost a standard for the client cars.

    I gave her a try in P3D, VC looks fantastic, outside is just ok. My Biggest problem with her was that as I was coming in to park I was only going about 10 kn and applied full break, the tail popped up in the air and then slammed back down "Crash" went the sim, game over. Don't think I will keep her in the hanger.

    thank you, i'm glad the explanation was taken as it was intended, a step by step, how to do it instruction. the point being, i don't know how much the reader knows or understands about ad2k, or, for that matter, combat flight simulator. with especially, ad2k, you are beginning to see, just how complex and repetitious it can be. it's too easy to get lost or confused, both, with all the drawings and the sequence coding.

    Why that much HP? And I'm betting that would be 700BHP SAE, not DIN. I'll get back to you on this subject, somewhere I have the Dyno sheets for an obselete Porsche Cup 911 that we bought recently for not a lot of money. Nothing as second hand as second hand race car ..........:encouragement: Here we go, a tad under 300BHP DIN and it cost us ('The Olde Fartes Restoration Co.') less than half of the asking price of a Hellcat, which (BTW) equates to around A$100,000 at the current exchange rate.

    I posted a question here http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php/103662-Traffic-Toolbox-for-P3D_V3 but never got any response Maybe this new thread will be noticed. I have recently installed the P3d program and am interested as to how to solve my no show Traffic Toolbox issue. I know that there is a dll.xml that is copied over from the SDK folder to the root P3d folder but I would like to know how to edit the xml file. MY Sdk is installed on my Drive P and so in my P3d but I installed them to their default locations except I changed the C: to P: I figure once it is set up, where is the tool box located on the upper menu screen in P3d?

    For what it's worth, the key assignment logic uses the default "increment/decrement flaps" events (F8, F7 keys respectively), but keep in mind that the DC-3 does not have detents in its flap system. The keys just work as the lever in the real thing does, basically toggling the appropriate valve to raise/lower the flaps.

    Well, yes, there's little superficial difference, but still enough to question whether performance is identical or not. Just look at the dimensions of both types on Wikipedia. The C-47 has longer span, but is shorter (cutoff tailcone for towing shackles) and weighs more (although I guess that the operational empty weight with seats and galley of a DC-3 is much in the same range). I can't find the source of information about the wingtip extension or much more about any differences, so I'll probably have to dig up a book about the aircraft series and skim it for clues.

    We are off to The Island again this year! All bookings, tickets and decisions about where we might go after the TT fortnight are (more or less) done and dusted. And my favorite 'Pommie Road Racer' (Guy Martin) will be riding this year teamed up with John McGuinness, a formidable pairing. I've seen the Karting video before P but have you come across the highly tuned Subaru Imprezza doing a lap? Real Sphincter clenching stuff and that's just watching the video. :redfire:

    They are promising to fix all the major flaws before summer...so hang tight! I hope to sell my PT Cruiser I've been working on before then. Adding a lot of newer updates engine and front-end parts. It only has 86,000 miles on it and is in real nice condition. I plan to use the money for a new computer build. I can hardly wait to get my hands on the new XP-11.

    The dr_airbase_d1ita.xml facility appears with very green grass in my version of MAW I cannot figure out which .dds file the game is using to produce such a green effect, or how to fix this since it is not the only airbase that uses dr_airbase1550_grass that can be found in the object folder, and if you open it you will get : <Runway Start="0 0 -775" Stop="0 0 775" Width="50" Turn="10000" SurfaceType="grass"/> when you look at the runway sub- folder in the building folder there are only two .dds file: runway_concrete.dds and runway_dirt.dds.:dizzy:
