Perhaps his last post on the Mossie NF XII in the sticky "forgot to add in the read_me that you can lower the landing lights with the dive flap key. Cheers!"

Can't wait for that one to come out!! I grew up with Gunship! on the C64, it always amazes me how far the technology has moved on! I have great fun with the KA-50's optical sight which is cued by my VR headset, and I'm sure the AH-64D will feature something very similar!

Hi Dave I did everything you suggested but no joy. Still no tanks or weapons. I also noticed that I am unable to connect to the vACMI server - not sure if that's relevant. The websimconnect seems to be working and the vACMI weapons etc show up in the simobjects folder. I also tried uninstalling and re-installing everything but no better results. The airplane flies well enough so I may have to live with this limitation although it would be nice to have everything working. Warren

Marcel, Apologies for any confusion! What I was attempting to point out was that whilst the outboard stub on the FlyingIrons MK.IX is there and in the correct place, it is not hemispherical as it should be, as can be seen in the first picture I posted (which actually is of a MK.Vc - AR501), and in those pictures of the MK.IXs that you posted. (As you probably know, the 'e' armament wing deleted the 4 x 303 inch machine guns, and had a 0.5 inch machine gun mounted inboard of the cannon, whilst the Hispano MK.II cannons where mounted outboard of the 0.5, and further back, hence the shorter fairing for the cannon and blister further back on the upper wing). The reason I posted the pictures of the 'e' wing cannon arrangement was to show how FlyingIrons has appeared to have...

So, I load the aircraft, and I get the first screen appearing. The outside view is as shown in the second screen. I don't bother connecting to the vACMI server -- as shown in the first screen. I then switch to 'windowed' mode and call up the configurator. I select fuel and weapons and select "Apply". Close the configurator. Notice that nothing has changed on the aircraft. This is as expected. You won't see any changes until you take the sim out of 'pause'. When you do -- you should get this (or whatever your chosen configuration is): I hope this helps.

Very impressive!!! Did you all this only with library objects? That looks pretty consistently and high detailed. Your skills regarding dynamic lighting usage are getting better and better - Good job :applause:
