Hi Mike your comments are well put, I think the results were the triumph of determined crews who struggled with the poor equipment at their disposal and suffered many casualties. It was ever thus and still is. Thank you all for your kind words - hats no longer fit baldy

I am currently at our summer house with kids, up to next thuersday, so at this time frame no space for some completation work. Also Bravo/4 offered to make better skins. I think you all understand I would like to terminate the hellijahs add-on variant as soon as it gets, yet with the fact some things could be made better, but even that way it needs to do it decent way :) Anyway, I have to note the hellijahs model enhanced conversion, when released, will be no longer supported for some updates or fixes. All next Arado 234 related future work will be focused on the own scratch made project.

The biplane is not a one-off, several dozen were built and used by the military. One aircraft still exists in a European museum, probably as a rebuilt.

Yup! In the line unit.0=USSAmerica, 0, 0 , get rid of the space between the comma following the word USSAmerica , and the 0 in the coordinates. In other words, make it look like this: unit.0=USSAmerica,0, 0 I trust you're using AICarriers.NET, not the old JAVA based version. :triumphant: Can I also suggest you make a single-entry (for now) .cfg file for this ship in the conf.d folder? Adding ships to the main AICarriers.cfg file makes it unwieldy in very short order. Make sure you add the section

Just remembered something (I'm not at the PC, so I hope I've got this right!). There's an entry in the aircraft.cfg that needs copying across from the FSX BA to the CS D. Without it you'll get the FCS fail message. I basically copied all the aircraft.cfg except contact points so the FD would be the same.

Hello Ivan, It seems to have got a bit better still! Moving the long nosegear-strut into Body Main as well, glued just under the wheel-well and putting the strut into the L/R Glue Sequence for the L/R wheel-doors provided a further improvement. Only the wheel and its yoke is left in Gear Nose, and now only the tip of the propeller blade interferes there. Letīs see if I can get the top of the wheelyoke out of there as well! This way all that will be left of the nose-gear strut in Gear Nose are the wheel-yoke sides, and they will expectedly display better as well, without filling in the triangles as happens now. Cheers, Aleatorylamp

The FSXBA F/A-18C has an FCS system designed for FSX/P3D 32 bit, and another, different one for P3D 64 bit. And never the twain shall meet. As long as you have the correct ancillary files for it to function, it should work flawlessly. Naturally, that's for the F/A-18C it's self, with the correct Panel folder, aircraft.cfg and .air files, and Model folder. Other than that, it should work fine in another plane :pirate: Good luck. I will do what I can to help, but I won't mention the D Model to Jimi! THAT is a no-no, big time. :banghead: Pat☺

Oh no! The loss of the plane, if it's a vintage one, is bad enough, the loss of even one life is a complete tragedy! My condolances to the pilot's friends and family, for whatever good they are... I hope the ground casualties turn out to be ok, at least. Thanks for the HU! Pat☺

I had another CTD with the comet, and I was not even using the autopilot, just throttling up for takeoff. I tried the same flight with the default 737 to make sure there was not anything wrong with my setup and it was fine. So at this time I am going to have to advise that the JF Comet is NOT V4 ready.

Hello Ivan, Thinking a bit further about the Lower-Nose Propblade/Gearwell and Geardoor interaction, the problem is the Gear-Nose Group, which is also the cause for the messy view of the forward geardoors seen throught the fuselage from behind. Gear-Nose should really only contain the nosewheel and nosegear-strut, and if possible, only the lower part of the latter. The glue-strategy is similar to the mid-fuselage components, where horizontal splitting of the component allowed A) wing fairings to be glued to the lower component,

:listening_headphone Howdy folks, Oops, a little late today. The cornuts took off from Ely, NV. and headed to Wendover, UT. where the b-29's for the Atomic bombs thing did there training. The base still has a no public access posted oh well I guess we landed without permission, but one thing no armed guards greeted us now that's a big change here lately. Evidently, we flew near or over another spook area, seen something about sheep, and miss labeling some real bad stuff and sent it around parts of the country. Now we will be off to Ogden, UT. and because of the weekend we will more than likely stay the weekend, heck a good chance to go over to Hill AFB and see their aircraft museum. Picture: flying to Wendover and seeing the Bonneville salt flats off our starboard wing.
