The new Firefly made me come back to FS after a half a year without FS flying :-) FR.1 "281" of 827 NAS, early Korean war operations flying from HMS Triumph in 1950. Sources shows that the paint schemes used very a good mix of old and new. Also some painting and modding to make Triumph and carrier group (the destroyer force is not shown in the pics).

Never tried Prepar3d so not too sure how it differs too much from FSX... maybe one day. Always feared it would run slow and under-perform on my mid-range pc! Thank you, I still believe this model needs attention as I've always been a fan of the later mark Spitfires and so far, there's not been any more released for 10 years! Would be brilliant to have a detailed model of a IX, XVI or even an XVIII in FSX/ P3D one day from one of the top developers like Aerosoft, A2A or Flight Replicas. Alas, we seem to get just the early marks of Spitfire released again and again and again... I like all the little features in the Realair release as well, and the choice of selecting clipped-wing, gun-sight, clean or worn etc in the cfg. It was clearly an add-on ahead of it's time- as you say. That...

NavTech was kind enough to send me the RealAir Patch and apparently Flightzone Rhode Island Installer from Flight1 is already patched to 1.02, i.e. has the two service packs 1 and 2, so accordingly, if you purchased from Flight1, feel free to re-download the Flightzone Rhode Island installer; not sure about other sources...thanks anyways and yes that reminds me anyone here have FSQuality Slovenia and Croatia Patches, I think there may have been two of them from scouring the internet forums...any assistance in this regard also highly appreciated...thanks again!

I lost the files when my old rig died last year. I think I have the hard drive but haven't tried to hook it up. I really just want a better P-51 fm for now. I spent a couple months in the fall tooling around in the F-86 Sabre on DCS World. Very cool but not CFS3. I also wanted to check out my fall foliage files. Did a quick paint of some new trees for the ETO highres/lores folders.

Oh my! I had one too! PT-19 Flight Trainer, U-Control. Plastic model, held together with rubber bands. I spent more time "hand-propping", well, finger propping, anyway, that thing than flying it. Still, had a blast with it. Hours and hours out at my elementary school's soccer field. Mostly either trying to get that darn .049 engine going, or putting the plane back together after I crashed it... :dizzy: By the way, Zippy, I don't wear hats. I read an article someplace that linked early baldness with wearing hats all the time. Must be something to it, I never wear a hat I don't have to, and I have a nice, full head of hair, almost down to my...errr...waist, not even grey! Nice, rich, chestnut, even still, at my age! Nope! No hats for me! I'd rather watch the few ideas I get dribble...

Hello Gentlemen, I also did some poking around with some of these campaigns after the recent posts. From what I can tell, it appears that they are intended to ALL be installed because some of them seem to contain aeroplanes called for by other campaigns. I am always looking for new models. Are there any unusual or particularly good models to be found in these campaigns? I tried loading a couple of the aeroplanes and so far, my success rate in getting them to work is pretty low at about 50%. - Ivan.

I updated the FDE for the Albatross quite some time ago but I'm not sure Phil every incorporated the updates into the uploaded package. Try commenting // out the current Contact Points section and replace with these: //0 Class (1= landing gear/2= scrape point/3= skid point /4= float/5= water rudder) //1 Longitudinal Position (feet from reference datum) //2 Lateral Position (feet from reference datum, minus=Left, plus=Right ) //3 Vertical Position (feet from reference datum)

Now Available NOW AVAILABLE: Community A-4E-C Mod The Community A-4E-C Mod is the culmination of nearly three years of work on behalf of seven driven team members and many vital advisors. We’re proud to present the most comprehensive DCS Mod to date, boasting such capabilities as Air to Ground Radar and Carrier Operations. The A-4 was a cold war workhorse, providing a capable, reliable light attack aircraft to dozens of nations around the world. From the Sinai Desert to the Jungles of Vietnam, the A-4 was a common sight above cold war battlefields. We thank the community for their support over the years, through good times and bad. This work has been a journey with many faces along the way, and we dedicate it to our friend, mentor and lead coder Eric “Gosapadin” Mudama. His passion...
