Working on putting Stuart's new King George V into all of my BPF missions, both Meridian and Iceberg and came across a rather strange set of circumstances..... ALL, I mean ALL of my ships in Meridian install are missing ship.cfg and model.cfg files. Some, not all, of my aircraft are missing their aircraft.cfg files also. I have not encountered that before. Now I am having to spend an inordinate amount of time reinstalling all of those config files......

Done a few of those my own self. Sometimes just making it to the red ops area line to be picked up by an allied sub instead of an enemy sub....... sometimes not so lucky.

Excellent Work! Thank you very much for your hard, time consuming work. Any chance you could modify this one to fit a Seafire LIII?

Leaning toward the 2GB. Don't know if I want to try 4GB system RAM with another 4GB of video RAM. It might make me less aware of number of aircraft, ships, and other scenery issues for lesser systems.

Yes, one can transfer any install to another drive but you have to redo the Appdata (win10) by running the MultiCFS3 app and cfs3config. As PTO doesn't have eras, it should be easier than ETO which requires batch file editing.

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Panels Add-Ons Description: Original panel was painted by Sergey "Araks" Golovachev. You can download it at Sim-outhouse. Special thanks to Mike Zola for sending me a lot of Spitfire cockpit photos. I have lowered the cockpit panel to allow the gunsight cross hair to show up normally without using the VIEW_FORWARD_DIR= command. I have also added the rear view mirror, canopy latch mechanism, and cleaned up the cockpit display area to allow the gauges to show up cleanly. The rectangular/round gunsight and the cockpit panel with rectangular/round rear view mirror are interchangeable.

Hello Ivan, Then the engine was similar. Of course, the first blue-pencilled column would not be the one for yours - maybe the second, the "K" version initially, with different and blurry speeds, but no "D/F". The wings went OK - like you said: First placing the wing root and wing tip, and then the panels, lined up with the wing tip and then adjusted to the wing root. I had a little trouble with the flap parts, but it went OK at the end. For the moment they are still the way I´d thought, plus a grey panel that shows up under the wing when flaps are deployed, but there´s still some bleeds. The textures took a little work to correctly stretch them, but they are all lined up with equal height from nose to tail, except for the rudder, so that was OK too. What is debatable is whether...

Ivan replied to a thread Airacobra in CFS1 General Discussion
In an article in the magazine "Aviation" in July 1941, Larry Bell listed the design objectives and priorities for the Airacobra. The priorities were "first, firepower; second, good pilot visibility; and third, good landing and ground characteristics. And these engineering objectives were to be over and beyond ordinary fighter characteristics such as speed, maneuverability, and pilot protection....". All of the primary / fundamental characteristics were met but perhaps more attention should have been paid to the "ordinary" characteristics. The 37 mm Motor Cannon was seen as an essential part of the design which is why I believe it is necessary to represent this in a CFS project. For a single cannon weighing 238 pounds, the only place to mount it would be to fire through the...
