hi Mixxer, got the m3d viewer running thanks to Gecko's help re: d3d8.ini. Comments on your above: 1. The reason for there being a flackcar included for USA and Britain even though none is specifically modelled, is so that the train follows the spawn file requirements. Otherwise you end up with a short train. 2. For the Sherman, yes the pintle gun is modelled and the hull MG is not modelled as a gunstation. So go for it - the AVSDK recommends traverse settings at 180 left and 180 right for full 360 degree coverage.

I made myself a python program that could read all the aircraft.cfg files in my system and create a spread sheet of them, it also reported any that had invalid titles (at the time it would cause p3d to crash when you tried to save a flight, but that problem is now fixed). It would not be hard to adapt it to report all aircraft that had duplicate title strings although I I never tried to have it fix it automatically. Would something like that be useful to you?

Did you install some MAIW scenery package and then the FSX/P3D aircraft update package? Looks like that is what happened. Dump both and start again testing each as you go so you know when the redundancy occured. Then remove original the non FSX/P3D model (FS9 vintage). Maybe take a screen shot of the Airplanes folder before installing the update so you can see what has changed. :ernaehrung004:

Up and running again. A bit red faced when the technician restarted the PC (which I had previously tried) and the damn thing worked perfectly. At least now I have sound through all speakers:biggrin-new:. Thanks Kurt. Good to know that this has been tried. Aleatorylamp, Would you like a copy of the texture set UncleTgt renamed and resized for me?

An Air Force trainer plane from JBSA-Randolph crashed Tuesday afternoon near Rolling Oaks Mall. The Wing T-6A Texan II crashed at the Circle Dot Ranch around 4 p.m., but not before the crew ejected safely. The Student pilot and instructor sustained minor injuries and were taken to the base medical clinic for evaluation, a news release said. Here is a link to the story as well as a slideshow of the T-6 crash site taken from Sky12 News Helo: https://www.ksat.com/news/air-force-trainer-plane-crashes-near-rolling-oaks-mall Here is an update from JBSA-Randolph: https://www.12ftw.af.mil/News/Article-Display/Article/1639721/update-2-t-6a-texan-ii-crash/

The VSTOL code in the F35B doesn't use FSUIPC, so that's not a good reference I'm afraid. Also, the text info you found in the WindowStatus gauge is just debug info, in case .Net isn't installed. Not sure though if .Net is actually used by this gauge, but I may come back to that later. BUT: I'm a bit confused now as to how you installed FSX-Accel and FSUIPC. Which might be the culprit. In a previous post (on FSUIPC) you copied the text from your FSUIPC install log:

The store is in NSW and I am in the ACT.Not very far away.It took me quite a while to save up for this. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas.

Rest in peace young man and deepest blessings to his family and friends for their loss. Always had much respect for all sailors, but even more for those flying and tendering aircraft/helos in conditions that make land based operations pale in comparison. Thanks for posting. Saw this in Stars and Stripes yesterday.

Hello Ravenna, OK, Thanks! I didnīt know how the naming of bitmap textures worked. The way I named them was only to make sure one could identify the correct bitmap belonging to the corresponding .xaf Texture. The Rack Frames of course must still be adjusted, depending on the way the bombs are going to fit under them. From what you comment, for a start, it seems that the supports on the ends of each frame have to go down further, but I donīt know by how much - maybe twice? Weīll see once your computer is serviced... Good luck with it! Hopefully itīs not something too serious. Cheers,

Also can report really nice results with the Avro installed on FlaptopSX-SE (Steam Edition). I know it's off-topic here but I feel it would be bad form to discuss the Avros outside of this forum. It my current hardware-challenged situation, I'm having to make-do and I am really amazed at the quality of freeware and payware add-ons that are available. This big-box store laptop runs almost any add-on aircraft well, but the scenery settings must be dialed back to get acceptable frame-rates (20+fps). This is true with fs9, FSX and FSX-SE, equally. Once operating outside of fs9, I have become painfully aware of how small the fs9 world is becoming as legacy software fades away due to lack of maker support.
