I agree, Daube. I'll get better at fine tuning my paint for this ship, and make it my own. :) I found that you can't change the ATC ID or tailnumber in this aircraft's config. Some models have it coded in, and this seems to be one of them. I don't mind manually changing it before flying, now that I know that's the only way to do it. As far as having something nice while I wait, I'm quite happy with it. I'm learning to do new stuff in FS I never have before. I've never seriously attempted to realistically fly a turbine aircraft. I'm now attempting to do it, with this, and it's SUPER fun. I'm gonna move onto the ILS lessons in the sim, and begin reading up on Turbine engine management, so I understand more than just what the gauges show me. I flew her back from Telluride, to...

Hi Lefty! Maybe you don't know the story of the payment of the lot of Breda 28 by the Norwegians to the Mussolini's regime...well, ascertained the fact that Italy and Nigeria are respectively n.1 and 2 in the world of stockfish eaters (on Friday almost every italian family eats his stockfish which is prepared in a million different ways depending on the region) Mussolini decided that payment should be made in stockfish which they (the norwegians) promptly did! By the way I have no idea whether the stockfish was as bad as the Breda's proved to be! (only 4 remained active then passed on to the civiliansÖ.) Cheers Carlo

Dave, after following the instructions, it seems to leave two gauge07 lines. Where did I go wrong? I ended up deleting the gauge00 line and inserting your gauge00 line instead. I didn't insert your gauge01 line to keep from getting two gauge07 lines.

MaskRider, Yes, I pronounced it incorrectly until I heard someone else say it, lol! I had a former co-worker who served on the Midway, perhaps a little before you were on the Anderson. Obviously, he was a member of the Gulf of Tonkin Yacht Club. Yes, it seemed we were away more than home, but spent many wonderful days in Subic Bay, tied up at Cubi Point. Had to take the "Liberty Bus" to main gate, which meant crossing the runway! I did manage to take a tour to Mt. Fuji, although I didn't make it to the summit due to rain, it was a great experience. I enjoyed riding the trains and seeing the countryside, beautiful place, Japan. Thanks for sharing the photos, by the way, brings back a lot of fond memories! The flight deck of the Midway is where I transitioned from a "Wog" to a...

I love FlySimWare, they put a lot of attention and small details/features in their planes. However, you are right to be careful about the performance. I have only their Mu-2, which I love, but it was a bit heavy on the FPS on my previous computer. I cannot tell about the Lear 35, because I don't own it, but maybe somebody else will reply. What is your current hardware ? In any case, I strongly advise you to wait for some sales if you want to buy that plane. FlySimWare sometimes does some very nice price reduction, ranging from 30% to 50% if I remember correctly. Since you have already got the Lear 20 series, you have something to help you waiting anyways :)

There are some mods that have to be made to the panel: : Delete the declaration for gauge00 and renumber gauge01 to gauge06 to become gauge02 to gauge07. Add the following where the above line was: gauge00 = dsd_p3d_xml_sound_x64!Sound, 2,2,2,2, .\SimObjects\Airplanes\IRIS Warthog Driver\panel\A10-AUDIO\A10_sound.ini gauge01 = dsd_p3d_xml_sound_x64!Debugger, 420,550,600,80 Save and close.

Chris, No worries on hijacking the thread...... :very_drunk: I learned while stationed on Okinawa after my tour in Vietnam that the Japanese put the emphasis on one of the middle syllables versus our English pronunciations... It appears your photo and mine are VERY similar except from a different angle. Rotate one or the other about 45-90 degrees and they are the same. Your top is my left side. Since you are one of our premier scenery gurus, any interest in doing up a pre-attack Yokosuka naval yard?

Thanks TW!! From what I am reading our Allied Naval Aircrews did a "bang up job" on those piers and naval yards in 1945. Our USN took over and revamped much of them to bring them up to speed. DD
