    Just tested out the visibility condition and changed it in MCX and it works. The part I need to figure out is to get it displaying above 5 knots or lower. Right now as soon as the ship starts to move it pops up. The only side effect is once you stop forward movement the effect stays visible. Dave, Here is how to do it. Once you have added the effect make sure to export the model, then reload it. Then open the Hierarchy Editor, click on the AttachedEffect for the Bow. To the right click on the Visibility Condition and scroll down to "Forward Movement Visibility" and set it. Export the model. I also changed the effect to the Deltasim KGV spray which is nice as it is effected by the movement of the waves.

    Thanks Ted. Things are looking good on the nightfighter front. I am sure your Stirling will look great. When you get close I have some random VC parts I can send you if you need. I believe they are mostly mapped but need texture applied and to be arranged on texture sheet. As you know the Sunderland yoke , pedals and throttle column should work pretty well for the Stirling. Steve

    Depending on how you're adding the effect it just needs a visibility condition that only displays it above a speed of ~5knots.

    I remember a lot of stuff we used to talk about Ted, when we were discussing things about the JU88 C2, you told me about some secret missions flown by Luftwaffe, using the 88, flown from Finland over Russia way back during the war. Also about your Dad's job in the Air Force while stationed in England. All the pics you sent me of the "Brew" also, but all that stuff is on a Win98 pc that is not usable anymore. Can't remember what I did yesterday, but can remember our discussions we used to have,, funny how that works,lol Ah, the Golden Years!!:biggrin-new:

    Hi FC, Firstly tell us what software it is?..secondly does it tell you what file is missing? It possibly will be a dot Net version that it needs for Fs2004 runtime, if it tells you that then you can download and install it (it doesn't overwrite any other version, you can all version of M$ dot Net installed).     Dave, The effect I'm using for the Bow is fx_wake_bow_Zu. I don't know if it is a stock file or an add-on. The effect is visible when the ship is stationary which is a bummer. I know Deltasim uses some sort of gauge effect on his King George V for the bow that works with movement/speed of the ship. But that is player model and don't know if it would work on AI. Maybe talk to Rob (rcbarend) and see if he has one or could make one for AI. Joe

    Hey guys, I also have another question regarding Thicko's Dornier bombers and the Ju-88s by Krystof Malinowski. When attacked from behind, they both have a tendency to dive hard if the damage focuses on the control surfaces, (elevator and rudder assemblies on the tail) and then recover after several seconds, which has the effect of throwing off your attack. However the Heinkel bomber does not do this. Is this AI behavior or a .cfg /.air issue?
