    Thanks for the kind words. The major work was done by those that made the models that I placed. That is really all I did. I made an airport layout. They are the ones that made this possible so far. And they will be given credit in the read me. But it has been an enjoyable experience. I only wish that I had the time to work on it in other than fits and starts. Cheers, Joe

    Having sorted out my assets folder, I have been experimenting making fire/smoke city targets based on various ETO_City_target facilities which are a 3000m x 3000m grid. I've found plotting the various size fire-smoke and smoke column types on graph paper is a great visual help to get layouts. I will be doing various daytime and night time versions over time! This is a 2nd version. There are 2 of the same facility on each side of the Thames as I wanted to see how far away they were visible.

    A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category P3D / P4D Add-Ons - Civilian repaints Description: This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of VH-EBU (cn 12187), which was built as C-47A 42-92392 but passed to the RAF as FZ631. Bought by Qantas in 1949 as VH-EAN, later VH-EBF and VH-EBU. Sold to Trans Australian as VH-SBD in 1960. Latterly VH-BPA but broken up at Cairns in 2009 because of corrosion. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paint kit by Gman5250.     A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category P3D / P4D Add-Ons - Civilian repaints Description: This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of ZK-AQS of the NZNAC. This was an ex USAAF C-47B-25-DK, 44-76363, that went to the RNZAF in 1945 as NZ3535 and in 1947 to the NZNAC, named Purourou. After it was withdrawn from NZNAC service in 1966 it went to Australian Aircraft Sales, and was sold to Far East Air Transport (FAT) in Taiwan in 1968 as B-255. Its ultimate fate is unknown. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paint kit by Gman5250.     A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category P3D / P4D Add-Ons - General Military repaints Description: This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47B-30-DK c/n# 32877 44-76545 of the PNGDF. It was built by Douglas and went to the RAAF in april 1945 as A65-84. It flew with 2 ATU with call sign VH-HJM and was later assigned to 34 squadron. After the war, it remained with the RAAF until 1975, when it was one of seven C-47's that were donated to the Papua New Guinea's Defence Force, where it was assigned the serial P2-002. It flew with the PNGDF until the late 1980's, when all C-47's were phased out. The aircraft was retained for display, and can currently been seen standing on pylons at Jackson Airport....

    A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category P3D / P4D Add-Ons - General Military repaints Description: This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of A65-78 of the RAAF. Built as C-47B-25-DK 44-76345, it went to the RAAF in 1945, and was the first allied aircraft to fly into Hiroshima after the atomic bombing. It went to the ARDU in 1956 and was withdrwan from operational use in 1999. It is currently in the RAAF Museum in Point Cook. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paint kit by Gman5250.     A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category P3D / P4D Add-Ons - Civilian aircraft Description: This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of PH-PBA. It was built as c/n 19434 and went to the 8th Air Force as 42-100971. She served among other during Operation Market Garden. After the war, she was obtained by Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands and registered as PH-PBA in 1946. In 1947, the Rijksluchtvaartdienst (RLD, Civil Aviation Authoroties) took her on charge, and from then on she served as the first Dutch Government aircraft, used mainly to fly the Dutch Royal family, often with Prince Bernhard as pilot. In 1961 she was replaced by a Fokker F-27, but continued to be used by the RLD, in the paint scheme...
