Beautiful work Robert. Will this be able to operate in P3Dv4 too?

Ha ha, I used to fly mainly warbirds, especially in Fs9, but latterly I fly mainly civvies and the SOH caters for all tastes these days.

real puny, Stephan. which in turn, adds to my confusion. (don't even think about apologizing. it's my nature to be confused.) i haven't aliased the p47d sounds to the ju52, yet, so, i don't know how they sound in conjunction with the ju52 air file. ie, the lower engine rpms.

Yeah, the airspeed kind of drops off quickly when you hit a marquee. Tonight is Flight 19's night off, but I thinking about trying that again. lol

Yes, I'm only here because of the DDW C47. Perhaps it's time to go.

Hello Smilo, Following on from your comments on the P47d sounds to be used with a modified (or not...) Merlin Sound.cfg file by Minuteman10: I had already put the Merlin Sound.cfg in with the P47d sounds. so, I just moved the whole sound file over into the Ju-52 one. The sounds themselves are nicely noisy and clanky, and the only thing to be corrected would be to make .wav sound 4 higher in pitch, because the revs sound a bit too slow - low in pitch.

In regards to what Stearmandriver said about the A2A Cub, I agree. As simple as it is, it is a pleasure to play with it. This plane is a great example of what you get from A2A. Three items: You can start the engine by pulling the prop by hand..... Lift the rear wheel off the ground by holding the brakes and increasing the RPM's... and to me , the nicest effect is to turn the magneto's off in mid flight, allow the engine to stop and then turn the magneto's back on. Put the plane into a slight dive and watch the prop begin to turn, at the right RPM the engine will restart. The Cub was my first A2A plane and it had me hooked on their planes.

Hello Smilo, Not totally a topic jump - it sounds very useful for the Ju-52, and its something Ive been thinking of as well. Then it would be easy to upload a model with just the sound.cfg, without huge MBs of the .wav sounds. Should you finish by the time Im done with all the Ju-52 textures, guns and (uufff!) nacelles, Id be interested in that Sound.cfg for P47d sounds, to use on the Ju-52. No hurry or rush intended!

When landing with autothrottle, you need to make sure that the commanded speed is set to the correct Vref value for your current weight and the desired flap setting. AT and AP are disconnected at minimums (200 ft radar altitude) and you'll land the aircraft manually. Autoland is available on this aircraft, but again, you'll need to come in at the correct Vref for the aircraft weight and flaps. I didn't read it either, but the XML code for the AP clearly shows what is and isn't done.
