    Hi 33Lima, your visual posts are great as usual! And the issue of aircraft formation size is not too hard technically. What I would envisage is an extension of current spawns which Rince33 and I have been experimenting with. The thing is, starting small provides proof of concept. The Intercept missions you fly usually have a small fighter squadron appear (in red, not a mission target) and a main mission objective, in purple, usually a bomber formation. This is achieved by putting two spawns, separated by a comma, into the one line in the spawn table file intercept.spawns. To get more aircraft, you can make the numbers bigger, but also add more spawns to the one line entry in the intercept spawn table. That is needed so you can provide different altitude settings.     Thuderstreak - I encountered this problem a long time ago and the problem turned out to be a corruption of the FSX Acceleration files (why who knows?). Anyway it was rectified only by doing a repair first of FSX and then reinstalling FSX Acceleration. I have never encountered the problem since. I might add I still use Win 7 64 bit O/S. Hope this helps.

    Hi Led Zeppelin, those are the exactly the issues I am encountering. One thing I was thinking of doing was creating a different country.xml for each era in ETO, to control default aircraft spawns. But for spawned ground object in facilities, they are still getting randomised per the NEK_ETO.xml which is the single mission file in the game.xml file. In the D-Day addon, they provide a few different country.xml files but seem to prefer the "sequential missions as a campaign" approach to using the campaign engine in CFS3 for the D-Day period.

    Well just to throw into the 'wildest dreams" department, the _mission.xml file IS editable (ie the one in the AppData pathway). I'm not adept so it takes me hours to pick up where I left off, or even work out what I did last time, but my uploaded "Campaign Mission Skill editor" is an example. I used some basic commands in Autohotkey so that, when sitting on the runway at the start of a campaign mission, I could press a couple of keys which edited the skill settings in the _mission.xml file. It may be possible, for example, to change the mode in the _mission.xml file from "qc" to mission mode, AFTER making the selections of airfield, aircraft, weather, etc using the QC interface. In effect, you would be using the QC interface to act like an accessible mission builder, much less...

    Well zinj, I feel slightly better that Iím not the only one with the problem. On or about May 2 for me as well. You are correct about staying below 200í. As soon as you climb past that, and you described it perfectly, tornado! modelr, I suspected FSUIPC, but I have the problem with it disabled, and both versions 5 and 6, so I donít think thatís it. As I stated above, I watched closely a few times and all controls remained neutral. I could even reproduce it with all of my controllers unplugged.

    Gary: Sorry for the several PMs... I didnít know if they were sending. Found out my account wasnít activated. Apologies. I got the model from Karla on the sas1946 site. After telling her what I was doing, she even sent me the original Blender file! I thought that was cool of her! The model on the site is for IL2 but theyíve a converter to make it a OBJ file. Karla also sent me the HQ textures for Bonnie Dick. Iíve tried modding the flight deck and island textures to Lexington (as she, Bonhomme Richard, and Shangri-La were converted to SCB-125 at the same time, so they share the same hull and islands) and my efforts just donít look good to me (my changes stand out like crazy). I saw the nice quality work here so I thought I would ask to see if someone had the Lexington textures...

    You're very welcome. This helo deserved to live again. I'm glad to hear it's working better. I'll look into the switches as well. I'm glad to see the hotix seems to have done the job in fixing the most glaring problems with the original release:jump: In terms of the textures and the extra helo I added. You can see the difference in shading it makes is subtle. But I think it will be noticeable as soon as you go to load the aircraft in the preview screen. The additional "HRT" training platform I added in the hotfix I think you can definitely notice it. Just wanted to thank everyone again that communicated with me to fix her up.

    Yes, the WotR campaign is like WoFF's in my experience - it progresses historically regardless of the player's or player's squadron's actions. I don't know if losses inflicted on enemy units (or even damage to RAF bases or other facilities for that matter) are rolled forward but even if they are, the Battle proceeds through its assigned phases regardless. What's certainly tracked dynamically is the impact (in terms of casualties inflicted and suffered, and missions flown and other stats) on your own squadron, which can be whittled down severely by losses, before replacements arrive. For the Germans, this appears to include aircraft still on the enemy side of the notional front line when the mission ends, which I think happened to my 109 unit more than once - could be wrong but that's how...

    You're not the only one having odd visions! :dizzy: That thought has occurred to me also. I think it's do-able but would need a programme manager, so what you actually do in QC is run an editable mission file. That's beyond me though, it's sort of how WoFf and WoTR work.
