After takeoff , the a/c tries to roll hard left. Holding hard right aileron keeps from crashing but will not straighten out.I use keyboard for trim. How do I change the trim in the aircraft .cfg?Any other a/c in the install fly just fine with joystick.

Odie, I'm going to check out that forum. Thanks. And FC, I'll try "run as administrator" before I take another step, see what happens. EDIT: OK, I redownloaded the Flying Club Seneca II zip file for a fresh start. When I right click on the zip file ( there is no "run as administrator" in the dialog box. I'm having the same problem with the JF/AH DeHavilland Tiger Moth Add-on pack (floats/skis), happening in the exact same way. That download is 54MB in size. When I click on the download file button on the PC Aviator site for that file, it downloads instantly - and I mean INSTANTLY - into the folder for it. I've never seen it so fast. My machine is pretty quick, but even in a 54MB download there's usually a little pause around 26 or 27MB, a pause lasting...

OK, so I have sat on my hands and (credit card) for too long. Purchased the DC-3 last night. TAA livery looks magnificent. Just as I remembered it at YMEN, so long ago. (Ansett, Ansett/ANA possible?) Later today, I will shut her down and try the infamous 'manual start'. I notice in the .cfg that 'electric_always_available' is set at = 1. I will try a start and if it fails will change to = 0, as Barry has instructed. I will report back. Cheers Jock McIntyre Melbourne, Australia

Talking about Me-109e markings during the early stages of WWII, my mother lived in a small village in Kent called Meopham and spent the war there. She re-called going across the village green with her friend one day during the BoB and being buzzed by a Me-109 which then turned back and came past the green at low level with the pilot waving at the two young girls. My mother remarked that the aircraft had a 'kicking Donkey' emblem on the side of the cockpit. I researched such a marking on an Me-109 in 1940. I tracked it down to an individual pilot who was shot down in the latter part of Sep 1940. Unfortunately I have since lost all of the details of unit and pilot name. . If anyone has seen such a marking on a Me-109e that fought in the BoB I would be grateful to know the reference and...

After a tenuous start out of Chicago Midway by way of Springfield (The Land of Lincoln) and Cape Girardeau, "I put on my blue suede shoes and I boarded a plane... I visited for the first time today. I had downloaded FS Logbook Editor ( last month, as it was free for a few hours during the initial days of the shutdown (one of many such offers). Anyway, today I received a email, saying the add-on had been updated. In the process, I visited the developer's site for the first time. Aside from the developer obviously having a good sense of humor, it is a very entertaining website. Some really cool stuff! A really nice "Spirit of Alaska" repaint for the Milviz DH-2 Beaver, plus a really cool FREE scenery that is both fun and whimsical. "Mouseviator Island". It is a blast! :encouragement: NC

Thanks for that. I am not too concerned. If the problem also happened in full screen, that would be much more bothersome. NC

Just an observation, but shouldn't the runway be wider, IIRC it was laid down as a "3 bomber" 750 ft wide runway to facilitate emergency landings by bombers returning from ops over Germany. Basically the runway was effectively 3, 250ft wide runways, side by side, it was one of 3 in the country, the others being Carnaby, and Woodbridge Ttfn Pete

Regarding the Bf-109e I could recommend the SAM Combat Colours No 1 by Peter Scott As I noticed before, I have this book in pdf and could send it to you if you're interested.... Lot's of colour profiles of 1940 bf109e's Another great source is this series of publications, unfortunately I have not been able to find digital copy on the internet, perhaps some the BoB copy's could make a great father's day present (or an early/late birthday gift) :)

The animation on the MLG fairing over the torque link is interesting. Blackburn didn't give it retractable gear, but it looks like they did the most to streamline what was hanging out in the breeze! The seating position gives you quite a view too, looking down on all the commoners on the ramp! Fun add on guys!

Welllll, Dont get me wrong. I'm not saying its a bad thing, but ya knowwww... The best meal in the world is two eggs over easy with just a touch of lace on the edges and a side of well cooked but not too crisp bacon.. You just cant beat it, unless you have it for three meals a day, seven days a week, in which case, it gets old.. The same can be said for FS2020. It's gonna be SO good, hot off the griddle, but in time, it's going to tire you out and youll want something more..

Many thanks for this Ian. My favourite airfield you've built, from your early CFS2 version to this one, used them all. :applause: And yes I noticed those 'cliffs'. I mean the land does go down to the north towards the Thames etc, but not like that...let's put it down to an extension of the North Downs..ha ha. But be good if you could fix it, and yes you should be able to make the corrections in ADEX and then open that in ADE9, then export to Fs9. Cheers Shessi

Manfred, I seem to remember if you want MAP in boost you just have to use (A:RECIP ENG MANIFOLD PRESSURE:index, boost inHg) for the animation code and the sim does the conversion for you. Obviously you'll still have to scale for the animation length etc. Skippy
