What's intended is that the original gauge files stays as-is and that's what is displayed all the time day or night, and the modified version ending with is what you will see as an overlay on top of that when the cockpit light effect is activated at night. The version should look different than the original (not just a copy and rename) or you will see them at full daytime brightness when the surrounding dash panel is still being darkened by the nighttime ambient lighting. There are examples of the +clight versions included in the package I uploaded recently. In the case of the ETO lancaster almost all of the needed gauge files were already covered in the package.

I can't see any reason why you wouldn't want to run in 32 bit at 1920x1080, it looks better and runs smoother and your PC looks like it can handle it no problem.

Greetings, have you edited fortress europa.xml, or changed xdps in any of the stock aircraft, recently? The message generally means that the HQs and squadrons for the British country are not able to be placed within the defined distances from the frontline. But it is highly unusual to get this message for the stock campaign. Within the Fortress europa.xml file, which can be edited using Notepad, there is a section called campaign parameters, down toward the bottom of the file. Try this set of params: <CampaignParams MaxTimeAcceleration="6" ServerAutoSaveFrequency="1" RoundLength="60" RoundsPerDay="60" RoundsToJump="300" SRMultiplier="1" RoundsToApplySItoTI="420" RoundsToMoveSquadrons="360" RoundsToBurnDownSI="80" RoundsToInitOffensive="0" RoundsToHideOffensive="30"...

Hi Dirk and thankyou for the HU. I think I know what this is now. Can you tell me if it is there if you use the VC lever or just when using the "G" key? I believe we can get better integration between the gear code and keystrokes so will be issuing a new model in a small SP soon. I also have a better sound for the gear pump. More anon.

The X-3 was the study for the 104. Thats why i call the 104 the bastard child of the X-3. Data gained from the X-3 as well as the X-3's wing, went directly into the design of the F-104. Thats why the horizontal stibilizer in the 104 is so much higher than in the X-3. It helps to counter adverse yaw. Anyway.. glad to see everything is working in FSX and Ito-San's flight modl is so accurate. Guess i'll shut up now..

Jeansy, apologies for the slow reply, back from another Biz trip and got to try out the Migration and that did the trick, thank you for pointing me in the right direction. Also thank you for the link to the freeware HI scenery, I had a quick glance and they look great, do they work with V4? Best, Sketch

The 104 analogy is a good one. . .very similar in the way they both respond and definitely on approach.

Hello Jay,Can You tell us more about your email and shipping details? This is the first I heard of a pinned down release date, and it would be great news since the earliest date given by DCS is in April. I need to wait for The Hornet to go on sale at full price in order to use a DCS coupon I've been holding on to.So I didn't partake in The Early Release program. **Some Hornet pics from DCS**

Hi Bazzar, just want to let you know that i have the "problem" with the red pins - as you can see on the attached pics, on the models with mirror mounted, the pin is showing when gear is up and on the models without the mirror they are not showing while gear is down. I re-installed it twice and checked it a few times - with the same result. It seems that this happend only to the MK1A-Model. Kind regards and many thanks for this fine Spit Dirk

Nice Harpoon :adoration: Looks like the gun in the top turret elevate at ~120/125 - just like the B26 guns. I flew the Attu Warrior, very nice looking color. Would like an option to raise/lower guns or rotate whole turret assemble - if possible. Thanks. :encouragement:
