Why not just use the good old "V" key, or whatever you wish to change it to? In Options->Application, you can also set which file format you wish the screenshot to be saved in, includes bmp, jpg, png and tiff. Screenshots are saved in your pictures folder under \Prepar3D v4 Files.

+1 I doubt Google Earth can provide you good 1940/1945 city pictures. :very_drunk: Incredible job on the countryside terrain textures though!

Try using the 'Print Screen' key, and the freeware 'Gimp' program. After the program loads click on 'edit', then chose 'paste'. You will then see the screenshot. To save it, you will have to click 'export as', and name a folder, file name, format. It may sound quite complicated, but the easiest solution that I use. Regards, Stuart

So having upgraded my fliegerhorst (2 so far) to 4096 it seems I should rescale the dds to 2048.:banghead: Does that also mean the trade off for 4096 aircraft is no mos file? I note several 2048 ac don't have them anyway but does that also imply no damage file? I'm going to have to ask Joost and Clive how not having a mos file effects airfields.

I've been using Fraps for taking screenshots for years, but lately it's been recording nothing but black screens. Looks like I'll have to replace it. Any recommendations? Dave

I'm very sorry, the file extensions are not '.SSI', but '.$$A'! A silly mistake of mine whilst trying to recall memorised information...:banghead: Still, any help would be appricated. Cheers, Stuart

I think it's a real shame for those guys especally the Keating entry, firstly the time penalty them being kicked out. On the oversized tank, why was this not picked in the pre-race inspection? Now the outright trying to cheat, agree with the punishment on that one. The penalties after always leave a nasty taste. Oh well I enjoyed the race, but feel the #7 car.

QUOTE=guzzi;1188340]Nice shots -whats the 'Avroliner ' like? -I have read some mixed reports about it. Is the Vulcan the freeware one? Hate the default xp-11 grass runways -they look bloody awful -thought the standard FSX grass runways where bad. i think the grass is far better in XP than P3D. There are mods on the .org that makes it even better.

Had that problem also. Had to wade through hundreds of key commands until I found what I wanted, Especially Beta and Reverser commands. I wish there was a way to move all commands over. There is an option to set to FSX but found it didnít help much. All is well now. New Logitech joystick and everything runs smoothly.

Agree 100%. If this brings more younger people into the flight sim world, it can only help grow the industry. Too many old codgers now, including me. Right now, much ado about nothing as there is little facts and much speculation. I anxiously await more data. Bob

I also just deleted my FSX after going to XP-11. Although there is nothing wrong with FSX and I had mucho add ons, it was time to move on. I did the same thing with FS9 but long after FSX came out, it was a slide show on my old computer. I had many great flights on FSX and will continue to monitor whatís happening. There are some aircraft and sceneries that I wish were in XP 11. To all you old timers who seduced me to the dark side (FSX), thanks for all the cookies. Bob

What a farce! First this: The Rebellion car, driven by Nelson Piquet Jr, David Heinemeier Hansson, and Mathias Beche, was found to be guilty of "modifying a homologated part and using it partly during the race," according to Autosport's report of the race official's statement. The modification, which officials said was a "hole that been fashioned by the competitor in the right-hand side of the engine cover," gave access to the car's starter motor without having to remove the entire rear bodywork. The car, which Autosport reports as having starter motor issues early in the race, ran a portion of the 24 hours with this modified bodywork, which is strictly against the rules. And then there's an even more damning issue: the team tried to cover the hole after the race. ...
