Oh, wow, I thought that was $34.99 AUD. It's USD? Yeah, I have the PC-21 from Iris already, so I'll hold out for the Blackbird T-6, I think.

Hallo Robin, The release Messerschmitt Bf 109GTrainer is the first released by Allen in colaboration with Cpt Kurt. On my demand if a two seat version of the Bf 109G exists Allen very quickly did his one. His reponse to my demand was faster than I could believe. Than I began to work on this basis to do a front and rear panel. And I had a little look on the flight behaviour of the bird. Later when studying all my docs I saw that in fact the history of the real Bf 109 G -12 is a bit complex. On the other side I know that an example has been rebuild to fly in present time. But the use is a bit different. I will not comment Allen's release as he was so kind to make one on my simple demand. I will just point out the differnces of my publications. The first is in its wartime...

This thing is a delight to take screenshots of. The source states it is an approved conversion of the earlier Milviz Phantom, as such we must be clear that this is NOT an official Milviz MSFS release. Therefore, there are limitations (such as no click spots in the VC). BUT for sheer visual goodness, and a high fun-factor, this is great. And yes I do own the commercial all-MSFS DC Designs Phantom and absolutely love it. Please let's NOT get into comparing apples and oranges. For Phantom fans, buy the DC version and grab this free one too. Then use each according to the type of flying you feel like doing. - So, this photoset is of the US Navy F-4Js. More screenshots to follow tomorrow. (And I need to check the download link again too!!) - Kenneth

Pam, Apologies for the late reply. Of course I can use the extra set of hands. Still lots to do (interior wise), but I have a flyable model already. Shoot me a PM here or on Facebook (George Arana) and I'll hook you up.

I've got to do some searching for that one! It looks great in MSFS. Here's some Flight Replicas goodness, operating out of Coningsby (home to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight):

Gliders now have native support, although the system that generates the thermals apparently isn't terribly realistic. There's also native helicopters, although there's still quite a few issues with things like governors, but Asobo is slowly improving the helicopter modeling as time goes on. Flyby still hasn't been added, and my guess is that it's unlikely to show up before FS2024 releases. The ATC is still not great, but it's less "pants on head stupid" than it was at launch. I think they've addressed the photogrammetry issues in London, since it was one of the first updates the sim got, but I don't know lot about it.

I am assuming this model must be close to study level authentic to warrant that sticker? I had thought the MSFS business model relied on volume sales. Maybe one should just wait for prices to be slashed by 75% on the Marketplace...

Somehow I missed this one.... Not the DC version, but an approved port-over of the earlier Milviz model. Of course limited functions as expected (think the Sabre), but looks very good and comes in two download packs with 116 liveries. Will grab more screenshots later. I need to fly it more to assess its characteristics, but first quick flight I enjoyed it.- Kenneth

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FS 2004 Military skins - World War II Description: This package contains alternative textures for Dave Garwood beautiful Avro Anson Mk.I. It shows his model in the colours from the K6285 of No 321 (Dutch) squadron RAF. Formed on 1 June 1940 at RAF Pembroke Dock, the squadron moved to RAF Carew Cheriton on 28 July 1940 and became operational. The squadron flew coastal and anti-submarine patrols with Avro Ansons until the squadron was disbanded, due to lack of personnel, and merged with No. 320 (Netherlands) Squadron on 18 January 1941. The squadron was re-activated at RAF Trincomalee, Ceylon on 15 August 1942. It was equipped with Consolidated Catalinas, which were crewed by Royal Netherlands Naval Air Service personnel who escaped...
