That's correct, MZee. The v18.4 is essentially a "beta" version. If you have troubles with it, try deleting it, and going to the v18.3. I'm pretty sure most of the difficulties in the v18.4 weren't in the v18.3. And yes, the v18.3 has a decent TP package installed. It's just missing ONE critical weapon. The HARM (AGM-88). I'm working on getting that fully functional. So far, I have the basic HARM functions installed, and it will fly to an active target, within about 60° of the nose. It gives you the option of, essentially, flying a "radial" around a detected, active SAM site, but outside their range, then firing on them to destroy their radar tracking vans. Then you can use a regular, 500 lb bomb to destroy the rest in relative safety. Just fly into the target low, like below 4-500...

That's the first I downloaded JK, but I just think the 'real' KLM livery from that period is one of their most beautiful in their long history.

I've looked through the posts and tried everything suggested including turning off my UAC. I've also religiously followed the Installation Guide. I just recently upgraded from Win 7 Pro 64-bit (where everything was working fine) to Win 10 Pro 64-bit. Win 10 then recently updated itself to 1903. Basically, I now can't pick Eras when ETO starts. The 2 white on black "choose the global_layer you want" boxes come up and seem to work but even when I choose, say, Era 1 I end up in what I think is Era 3 or Era 4 (there's a bubble top P-47d on the tarmac) but only the Era 2 missions are available. :banghead::banghead: On top of that, whenever I shut ETO or MAW down, I get a message that CFS3 stopped working and we're sending info to Microsoft. Then, when I start any CFS3 version up...

Development Report #6 Working with our partners at Deka Ironwork, we plan to release the DCS: JF-17 Thunder on December 4th, 2019. It will be available from both the DCS World e-Shop and Steam. Stay tuned for more details! The team has been cranking away on the F-16C Viper, but we needed a few more days to complete the announced features for the next Open Beta. Eagerly awaited features of the next F-16C update will be the Track While Scan (TWS) radar mode, initial data link, external lights, centerline fuel tank, and more. Following this Open Beta, our modern-day fixed-wing jet dev team will focus on the Hornet’s targeting pod, TWS and other radar modes, updates to weapons like the JDAM and JSOW, and more. Supercarrier work continues to revolve around the deck crew animations,...

    b52bob started a thread VR in X-Plane
I hesitate to ask this but as I am looking into virtual reality I am trying to find out what’s best setup for X-Plane. It seems that everyone who has tried it raves about what a game changer it is. would there be enough users on the outhouse to have a forum for vr? I feel others may be interested and there is a need to know the best setups for flight swimming (including FSX, P3D). Comments? Bob

Don't mean to pour petrol on a smoldering fire, but if you haven't experienced Manfred's "Gutersloh" in Fs9, you probably aren't able to appreciate how immersive this base and flight activity is. First, it's based on VTOL jet aircraft, the Harrier. They are deployed from the airbase itself and also from remote, temporary "Harrier hides" tucked away in forested areas. There is AI and user controlled Harrier flight activity from the base and and the hides. Also present is a fleet of CH-47 Chinooks that you can accompany on flight sorties. The hardest part to describe is the airbase scenery detail, which, even in fs9, is incredible and vast. Remember that there is the base itself and several "hides" that are a number of miles removed from the base. As I mentioned, there may be...

Milton, I've been enjoying all of your aircraft for more than 15 years now, going back to FS9 ( I now use P3D ). They have given me great pleasure over the years and are still among my favorite aircraft, freeware or payware. I want to thank you and all those who worked with you on these projects. I'm looking forward to the revitalized Avia 57. I also really appreciate that consideration is given to improving the flight dynamics when your aircraft are converted and upgraded. This does not happen very often when others do conversions and upgrades. Thank you!

Greenie, that is just how the real airport (Courchevel) actually looks, with the sloped land all around the edges of the runway - a man-made plateau of sorts where they formed the runway.

Hi Guys, First: THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT. MUCH APPRECIATED !!!!! Then: the problem(s) is/are in my OBJECTS_DP folder. To make a short story long :-), I did a fresh CFS2 install on a separate drive, decided to start with my SCW-CFS2 first, changed or put in all necessary folders or files and discovered the main issue: the OBJECTS_DP-folder. Then I managed to have my WW1-CFS2 running again, but when I try to start the free flight, I still get the message-error about initialising etc.. But when I click ok and then try to start for the 2nd time: IT WORKS. So I put my WW1 OBJECTS_DP-folder into my new CFS2-SCW and then I have the same: first time no go, second time it's running. So I copied the original obj.dp-folder into the new cfs2-scw obj.dp-folder, let it overwrite the files and then...
