Okay, that's the one I had called "Hendon RAF museum". But of course its in the colours of 56 squadron........ :banghead: Another senior moment....... :biggrin-new: As said they will all become available later this week. You also might like the repaint depicting the A-Flight leader's aircraft from 19 squadron (K2158) Cheers, Huub

Flying boats and seaplanes would not survive the salt water unless completely painted. Even then, corrosion would be a constant threat inside and out, requiring constant maintenance effort. Bare aluminum and salt water don't play well together!

Thanks! I have patched together an AI package from some aircraft that display completely in P3D but I will await your package when you have time to deal with. I think the VnW L20A is brilliant. I converted all the .bmp textures to .dds as some of the roofs weren't displaying. I didn't quite understand FSX@war so I never tried it.

... there is no doubt in my mind this is going to break ALL records!! A joy to look at, both from outside, and from the VC (I never fly in the 2d pit anymore.. ), sounds like they should.. and OMG.. the flying!!! My favorites are the 'close cowled' (no cowl ring) early 621's with those tall skinny mainwheels.. and of course.. the floatplanes. Welcome to the AVRO club lads...

JBK S-42B Clipper (project WIP) I've been messing with this for a while now. Finally got her into the sim, g_lightstates & crashcheck hex-edited away so she will load for both Free Flight and Quick Combat. After all, the only way to see those Pacific Islands is by "Clipper"... Loads still to do.

Ulrich - Thank you for working on the Native Tutors & thanks to Nigel for clearing their release. When you are satisfied with them will be time enough. I have a query - I have noticed in your excellent captures that in the first 3, the light on the rudder is "assertive"?, ie, appears perhaps overly bright, or relatively large ?, or were they as bright as that in real life? It is something I have noticed on other vintage aircraft from various manufacturers. Is it possible to make it more subdued, or is that a P.I.T.A thing to do? Thanks T43

I have been working on a very broad P3D Southeast Asia project for quite some time now, but it is primarily in conjunction with Tacpack, FSX@War and CCP. One of the issues that came up was that AI aircraft performance was very hit or miss....most often with it being a miss. It didn't seem to matter if it was VnW or MAIW or any other "brand".....the aircraft would not fly properly or they would fly with chocks and flags still in place or they did not have landing gear.....really all kinds of stuff was going on. I was getting frustrated with it, so I decided to instead focus on adding Tacpack capability to some aircraft instead. I plan on re-attacking the AI issues once I get them finished though.

I'll have to say it is nice to see landscape that approaches the quality of this airplane. Good shots.
