Haven't heard of this plane before so I had to look it up. Judging by the size of the windows in you model I was expecting something about the size of a Bae-146 but it is actually quite a bit bigger and the windows are really that expansive! With the "KC" designation is it planned to be adopted by the USAF or other US service branch? (I could see it in US Coast Guard work as well as it would get supplies to someone in trouble faster than a C-130 and it would probably look great in the white and orange scheme!) Looks like you're doing a fantastic job on this so far!!!:encouragement:

Just in case you haven't been there yet, I highly recommend you ask for help at FS Developer. There's a lot of very knowledgeable sim developers there.

One of the things I've been wondering about lately, is if this sim is vastly or all satellite imagery based, what is the likelihood that seasons are or aren't included?

It's easier to say ! We've also got some bits from other variants as well. So calling it something a little more generic is a little more closer to the development. As for x-plane... we are getting something ready for x-plane ( globe swift ) to test the market. once we know how well ( or not ) the market will react to an AH development - X-plane has been/and is very systems focussed and we are more about SPH rather than SIDS/STARS - then we shall see. Nice bike in your avatar btw.

Thanks Storm for your advice! I was tottering on the Hornet and the PG map to the buy side but the FW's had me wobbling. I'll do as you suggest and go with the A8. Many thanks!

Cool, nice find, looks.... interesting..... Also likely the more likely customer Microsoft will be seeing and will need to target at least to some degree. Be that as it may, I still have great hopes that they'll keep to their word on "Simulator" and include at least the ability to add a lot more complexity a lot more easily than we can see today (flight models, systems, etc) in aircraft creation for FSX.

I really, really don't think there will be any concern here. For P3D to be a problem for Microsoft sales, people would have to know about it. No offense intended to anyone, but the flight simulation community here (not just SOH, in general) is negligibly small compared to the business they are after. Vocal, but small.

Shalom Aharon, Well firstly do you know someone has actually done this livery for an FSX/Fs9 Electra, or are you just searching and hoping? Ha! I've had a good look and nothing comes up, the only Ansett livery on an Electra is this https://simviation.com/1/browse-Props-62-97 Which is an earlier tex for an Ansett Electra. Someone else may know or offer to do it for you? I'm not into tube liners but that orange livery you want is very nice.

Don't look much like Naarich, boy! Not known for it's heavy industry and there's no covered market...;) But looking good, be careful of those very bright green fields. I appreciate those are summer texs, but maybe toned down a touch? Shessi

I'm using coltshall as a testing area for my terrain textures and came across what I'm sure is Norwich. Somebody placed a lot of objects here.

Just read that he has pleaded not guilty in court today. He has been arrested twice for drunk driving. He's not the only one in trouble, I would think the company he was driving for will be charged for allowing someone like him to be employed as a driver. I am also a rider.
