    These Essex class carriers are very nice. Great job! I took the liberty of adjusting textures _auto_7.dds and _auto_10.dds to better reflect 60's vintage crew uniforms and MD-3 Flight Deck tractors though.     IIRC most of the older 32bit aircraft worked up to P3Dv3, which would make sense. Once past that point not a lot handled the 64bit P3D4. Same goes for the Area 51 series.

    I tried FSX aircrafts on the V5. Classics Hangar Bf108, Fw190A, Fw190D, Ta152, gauge sound, Payload Manager not work this is disappointing since I live the Classics Hanger Fw-190s/Ta-152s. The sounds are one aspect that make them so special.

    Noddy Can't thank you enough, it works. Ran the "Verify integrity of game files" and it came back with "2251 files failed to validate and will be reaquired" The engine sound is not only back, but the whole game works so much better. Over the months little things such as smoke showing in the mirrors quit working even though it was turned on. Running this is like a "Defragment" of the game. I think I'll run it every couple of months. It was such a simple thing to do, I'm surprised that nobody at the A/C forum had any idea what to do. Again, thank you

    I have no personal knowledge about this, but it seems quite plausible. Early Lancs did have ventral turrets but they were pretty useless and often dispensed with and the space where it was located was eventually taken up with the H2S blister. Some crews would field modify a gun into a bottom hatch for defense but again it didn't really work all that well.

    NCooper and MJahn thank you - as they say when all else fails read the manual. I obviously glossed over that part of the ReadMe. Re the red section on the boost gauge - this was because these type of superchargers were not geared but had a fixed gearing related to RPM which worked off the manifold pressure and throttle settings, there was probably a point where low throttle settings could have the supercharger delivering too much boost at particular throttle settings giving you a No No, that is low rpm and excessive or high MP, the red line area on the boost gauge. These British superchargers were different to the American ones and even the later Merlins (such as the Lancasters which had a HI-LO switch) which were controlled by a separate mechanism to change or control the...

    It took some digging, but I have a theory about the red arc on the boost gauge. Mind it's just a theory, since the Pilot's Notes are not all-inclusive. The diagrams in the Notes show the red arc running from approximately +2 to +6 boost. The Bev's throttles were interconnected with the flaps for what appears to be "go around" protection. If the flaps were selected full down and the power was advanced beyond +6 boost, the flaps would progressively retract until reaching the 20 degree position at +12 boost. For this reason, it was impossible to extend the flaps fully down when the boost was above +6, the top of the red arc. So that's a possibility, although it doesn't explain the bottom of the arc :indecisiveness: Thanks for the paintkit, MJ! BTW, JanKees...that paint looks...

    Sundog, Looks about what I have on the fuel numbers per tank. I did notice the PPH flow being off on the gauge (FL250, 380kts, 550# per side seems low). Agree on the little things like adding the GPS to fly the Mach Loop in the LN -15E! Zsolt, outstanding paints again, hope you release these!
