AzurPoly says this'll be coming to SimMarket eventually. I wish they had an ETA. I hate the Marketplace but this looks phenomenal. I have the freeware and enjoy it, but this looks to be next level. I might have to go for it.

Relatively 'low light' exercise: Martha Cove shortly before the Monsoon rolled across the State. An opportunistic shot before the deluge! FWIW, 31C and 92% Humidity.

Kent, I just got done looking, I did not find a paint kit in the files that were automatically downloaded from MSMP, I also checked the Dev's site, didn't see anything there either. I guess it is possible they will be releasing it later. It's a sharp model, glad to have it. Yeah, they should be adding it to Simmarket pretty soon.

Go to the "Warbirds Library" link above, and right at the bottom of that page is a small link to "upload". Gotta keep your eyes peeled :biggrin-new:

I don't know about the fuel transfer pumps, but to have a free castering tailwheel look in your section in your aircraft.cfg file. I have taken the slashes out of the fist line and added them to the second disabling the tailwheel steering. (You could simply copy and paste this replacing your old contact points section or move the slashes to the second line. Either way you'll be steering by brakes and differential thrust.) //0 Class <0=none,1=wheel, 2=scrape, 3=float> //1 Longitudinal Position (feet) //2 Lateral Position (feet) //3 Vertical Position (feet) //4 Impact Damage Threshold (Feet Per Minute) //5 Brake Map (0=None, 1=Left, 2=Right) //6 Wheel Radius (feet)

Well said sir, thank you for that! Again, not trying to bash MSFS, obviously for a lot of people itís great. In the real world, I own and fly a tail dragger, I need those realistic physics in my sim!

If you are on a strict budget for this stuff, I'd certantly recommend the freeware from restrauravia. I do really like what Azurepoly has done with this one.

I will keep my comment simple vis a vis P3D and MSFS. There were two plus decades of work went into the ESP engine that drives the sim model behaviour. At the core of that engine or software were two basic components - correctly understood aerodynamic physics and then the means by which the programming for that physics would do things in train with the operating system and its core components (Graphics and Processors). Asobo chose to reinvent the wheel hence the incomplete SDK and all the issues with respect to model behaviour. LM chose to work with what worked and fixed up the rest - i.e rewrote all the code for 64 bit processors then rebuilt the architecture to interface with a wide variety of other programs such as HTML, XML, C+ etc. LM also then threaded into this system Enhanced...

Bryant, I've been DYING for this one, but I HATE buying anything from the MS Marketplace. Did you get a paintkit with it? AzurPoly said they would be including one. I'm hoping it ends up on Simmarket...I'd rather buy it there. Kent

The Azurepoly version is nicer in a number of ways. The only thing I am wondering about is if this new version is a bit overpowered? It is certainly faster & accelerates quicker than the freeware version. Otherwise, it's super nice.

Yeah, that's why I specifically mentioned them. Carenado can get away with that. Microsoft's internal lawyers would never even let them try to do that! The dev roadmap is out-of-date. Due to the licensing issues, the AN-2 is postponed and they're releasing the Beech Staggerwing on 2/22 instead.
