Well ended up buying more than I intended - could have bought more though - MLADG's Me262/Komet/Habicht package, the L-29/Blanik package - mainly for the gliders, Avia 71's RF5B, the DMAX Blackshape Prime, JRollon-Jetstream32, RWDesigns-DHC6-v2. As you can see my preference is for the lighter end of the spectrum. Seem to be having an issue loading the different skins with the RWDesigns-DHC6-v2. though.

FFB is one item I forgot to add to my list at the top of the second page, but I did mention it further down. The reason I brought up DirectInput vs Raw is because the T-38C ran into it during testing, and it also uses the same ADV physics engine.

Thanks Rami. My airfield re-texture is specifically for my summer terrain. He is probably upgrading textures for the existing terrain, different colouring.

Ivestons not mine so you may have got that from one of the guys at cbfsim. Yeah that one from 2017 still has the hull anomalies and some textures issues. Iíll finish some of the amendments and give you revised versions of Ark, Lusty and possibly Invincible....Iíll look at the hull colouring too and see if I can get them to match yours. Cheers Gaz

I think this is the one you sent me together with the Iveston - I a have a couple of versions so I am not one hundred percent sure which is the right one - this one has a mdl file dated 21-01-2017.

:encouragement: Howdy all from Cowboy Jim AKA Taco. Going down to land at Casablanca it was like riding a gut busting bronco. I was going in low and circle around to try and slow this here machine down. Made the circuit ok, but the darn thing just wouldn't slow down full flaps, gears down, and the throttles retardate to the off position, but to no avail. So breaking some of the flight rules we can in hotter than heck. full reverse on the engines and we slowed somewhat, but it seemed that we would run off of the runway and end up in downtown Casablanca. hehe!:biggrin-new:

You should be able to convert the models using MCX to make it P3D compatible.

Windows 10 is the new Windows 11, 12 13 etc. With its updates, that adds more features as time goes on, it will always be the latest operating system, with no Windows 10. So we have just had an update from Windows 10 version 1803 to 1903 & contrary to comments, Windows 10 works very well with our sims.

It shouldn't. Updating texture files have no impact on aircraft operation. It sounds like something has changed in your default flight. Best way to analyze what is going on is to start with another aircraft making note of the startup state, then switching over to the DC-3. It's been awhile since I flew mine but I recall that I had to follow the startup procedures to start the engines because Ctrl+E didn't activate all the systems.

This notice appeared on my PC yesterday; "After 10 years, support for Windows 7 is coming to an end on January 14, 2020" I knew this was coming so I'm hoping for a windows 11? They seem to have better luck with odd number systems though 11 seems just a rumor as they say the next OS will be less PC and more App structured. Think I'll plan to keep what I have for FS and figure on getting whatever is coming out around Christmas for everything else. The video that MS attaches to the announcement to me sort of misses the mark a bit. Would that new computer systems were as generally adaptable and reliable as a new couch or wallet, right?
