Guns: The Spitfire Mk.IIA uses the cannon button to fire the guns. This is to get around a cfs3 issue with effects. The Spitfire Mk.IIB uses the normal gun button for the guns and the cannon button for cannons. The cannons will not fire with the undercarriage down, as mentioned in the pilot's notes. The guns still fire with the undercarriage down. All guns can freeze at high altitude if you don't keep the radiator temperature high enough. The radiator has a gun heating position which will melt any ice that accumulates on the guns. Guns can also jam randomly. If none of those things explain your problem, I recommend making sure you installed all the gun and weapon files, added the lines to the effects xml, and sounds xml. Gunsight:

I can't get the guns or gunsight to work. Everything else I've tried seems to work correctly. I can take the safety off with the switch or keyboard. Do you have to be airborne to fire the guns? The gunsight controls move but it never lights up or moves. The static sight is there. There is a lot going on when you fly these aircraft. I can see I will have to practice a lot. A surprise with the wounded pilot limping away after a slow speed crash landing. Nice to see a different animation.

Nice! Thanks for sharing that. Makes me happy seeing them in other people's sims! :applause: The Cal Fire repaints for the S-2F3ATs (S-2Ts) for Milton Shupe's model are complete. Paints were all constructed in P3D v4.5 so they should work all the way back into FSX. I am doing continuity checks and tweaks to them. 24 aircraft total, the largest as mentioned repaint pack I've done so far. This is Cal Fire's ENTIRE current fleet of 23 S-2Ts and a fictional repaint of one aircraft, T-100. I estimate late weekend upload at the earliest, or some time next week, likely early week (before Thursday) at the latest. Aircraft have added shadows, exhaust staining, and retardant belly stains for certain bases for variation in the bases. If I don't finish these this weekend, I will still at least...

Hallo friends, just uploaded a pack of five 2D panels for the A2A WWII FIGHTERS Messerschmitt Bf109E They have been done only for the FS2004 version. If the panels also work on the FSX version I do not know. Perhaps some one will try it. Yours Papi

Though it was a black day for the USA, it was a fortunate day for us Europeans, for it brought America into the war and that finally gave us back our freedom and democracy. Always with gratitude!!!! hertzie

And I went to boot at MCRD San Diego, right next door. Yes, I'm a Hollywood Marine :biggrin-new: HUGE grinder, "General's House" (actually, just a name for the Admin offices), as seen on the album cover for Hotel California, at one end, Base chapel at the other. Had a Navy recruit try to jump the fence to go AWOL. Unfortunately, the Marine MPs caught him. It was the fence between the two bases. He had automatically just joined the Marine Corps. Threw away all his Navy clothing, uniforms, tennis shoes, sweats, all of it, and got his Marine issue gear. Needless to say, he was a "little upset". He went on to graduate, though... :encouragement: Heck of a 3 months we had there... Co. A, Plt. 1058, 1st Squad... Pat☺

Rene has been correcting this on all the aircraft we've worked on which originally have tinted canopies. The Zuyax Spitfires came with slightly greenish canopies, as did many other aircraft. The stock Mustang IV comes to mind. Needless to say, none of them had tinted canopies during the War.
