I like your interpretation Uncle , I think M$s intended the wording Damage Dice as just the clue point , but left it unfinished , 1x4.0 as taken , 1 x rd = x 4 damage points , but that is an assumption that every round is hitting the same target box , What if there is an uknown variable at play here , that being the number of rounds per second fired , and I,ll randomly apply 20 rounds -- therefore only 1 round strikes the box -- the rest are aborted -- = 4 damage something you can test out - 4x ,4.0 may infer 4 hits of the 20 rounds expended - there fore producing 16 damage points , in equal time space , It seems to produce better results , faster take down , All said and done , my own opinion , is that a vital area as in control cables cut should be a weak link , less...

Yeah John, that MkII is a bit dirtier.:applause: I also think it was at least a MkII used in 'Raech for the Sky'.

I'm trying to get different results from his and my BC large formations but basically I'm after the CFS3 formation settings as in the actual game, and see if they can be tinkered with.

Good evening, Okay, so I lied... "title_string"=Battle of France (Stuka) - Clipping wings of the Falco "summary_string"=Aufgepasst, kameraden! The attack in the west has begun! To help pave the way for our ground units, we must prevent enemy air forces in the area from interfering. Your Stukas of I/StG 2 will raid the airfield at Brustem; this is a Belgian fighter base. Hopefully, we can catch the enemy fighters on the ground, and prevent 'em from ever getting into the air! "objective_string"=On 10 May, the Germans began their Attack in the West, and the Stuka was heavily involved from the start. On this day, they struck airfields in Belgium and Holland, including the airfield at Brustem, in Belgium. Between Stukas & Bf-109s which bombed and strafed the airbase, some fourteen Fiat...

Yea James you are right regards the weathering, I do have other schemes that will have more, I just try and keep a balance, as not everyone likes heavy weather! :untroubled: The bump map will likely be toned down more before release Borek, I'm still playing around with it at the moment, it's probably the leading edge that needs lowering more than anything? Thanks Wiek, I enjoy seeing them in your shots! Here's a slightly more used MK IIb James, but I will go further/dirtier! lol

my guess is a lot of work, trial and experimentation goes into getting realistic large formations. IIRC HouseHobbit went through "conniptions" working out how to stop AI aircraft tying themselves in knots in large formations. Maybe he has mentioned some solutions in his large formation mission packages from five or so years ago? Presumably they are here at SOH?

Hello friends, It's also been quite awhile for me to use this product, kind of getting old in the tooth, still......great for the terrific Solomon's WW2 scenery. I suppose I should up-tick to a newer Corsair. Now all we need is A.I. traffic for it (Solomons). The f4u code was missing from my configuration, so that was the problem, all seems to be good now after a short test. gauge00=af_f4u!code, 1,1,1,1

Luckily for everyone on FSX the weathering you see in P3d is not really as noticeable in FSX. Plus it's a piece of fun... there never was a plane that looked like this. The idea behind this was to take the one that crash landed and do a what-if. What if farmer bloggs didnt tell the authorities that a heinkel had crash landed in his field? Instead he parked in his barn next to a type 37 bugatti and a picture of an odd woman smiling. Only 70 odd years later the grandkids were turning out the barn because they were installing 500 computers to do some bitcoin mining, when they made the chance discovery of a heinkel. ( they sold the old banger car for scrap and remixed the picture of an old woman into a skin for fortnite ). Now the more observant of you ( and there's one on facebook )...
