    Yes, I recently noticed the skipping wheels, something for the fix list - not sure why they do it as they're animated normally. Canopy scratches are a WIP, I have a new version but have not tested it yet ( it's going into the Tomcat so will see how it looks ). The Eagles were ports from FSX/Prepar3D so that's why some of the textures look a little older. They'll get incremental improvements over time though, probably with mesh replacing some flat textured areas.

    Great stuff, this is an international effort. The textures for the aircraft come from Belgium. The airfield, Floridablanca will come from Germany. Many of the nose art creation items come from the U.S. and Belgium. The world could learn a thing or two about cooperation from us. Great job everyone. Bob sends a big THANK YOU.

    Hi As far as I understand it vACMI is the SSW system similar to Tacpack which allows weapons to be loaded out and dropped on imaginary targets. My impression is that it doesn't work correctly. In the Tornado as noted above I have not been able to cause the configurator to add and see on the aircraft any weapons or drop tanks although it works for some. This seems to work correctly in the 104 although I am told that there is a different system there. A window opens on start up at least in the Tornado apparently allowing connection with the vACMI "battle" site but it has never worked for me. Except for the members of this forum there seems no support either. There have been no email responses to me from SSW, not entirely unexpected given that these airplanes were free to me. Hope this...

    Same here - I did nothing but open MSFS..there was no update of any kind evident to me but the version number is correct on the home screen. Also when I check the store page where the list of installed 'apps' shows MSFS and below that the correct version. Having flown only the Caravan 208 since then I noticed the pitch-up moment when lowering flaps was reduced however I do not see significant drag being induced. Also - I experienced a new problem, The trim wheel began to roll forward suddenly and fully without any input from me and with the AP OFF - this happened twice on the same short flight. Aircraft tried to lawn dart itself. I finally just ended the flight and have not touched MSFS since.

    What is vACMI exactly? I got the SSW Zipper/Harrier/F-84 recently and have not loaded or figured out what it does . .

    Hello, Just some thoughts after 10 minutes of flying. (latest version) Did you happen to see that at slow taxi, the wheels don't spin consistantly? Tend to skip. All models. Were you intending to improve the canopy reflections at some point? These looks very flat to my eye. Canopy scratches could be reduced by 25% to 30% IMHO. Any upgrades planned for the interior textures? Seems very FSX to my eyes.

    Hi Ivan, No, but I can try, thanks. That way the model file will not be rendered useless for future SCASMing edits. Also, perhaps I can increase the copilot´s turning head movement without having to increase the rudder deflection angle... Update: I´ve just tried to do it MYSELF in SCASM, but wasn´t successful. I did a build just involving wings and copilot´s head, with 2 versions: One with a 22-degree rudder-turning angle, and another with a 45-degree angle. Each version had a separately named SCASM .scx file, but unfortunately they are identical, so I have not been trying to identify which part of the text refers to the turning angle. Perhaps it is something elsewhere that defines the turning angle. Now I´ll try and do it with ailerons and elevators, to see if they...

    If you have sound and if you have vACMI correctly installed, then hitting <ctrl>+<shft>+"R" (all together) will cause the canopy to close (among other things) and the system will tell you to start the engines. Dave

    WRT the F9F Panther, repaints there's a few here on this site. On, there's at least two by Zsolt Belzany. Avsim has a couple "what if" paints, and more importantly, a nice cockpit enhancement. Crazy to think those files are a decade old, and that this model still looks this good after all these years. Hope that helps, dl

    Thanks for the heads up, and congrats on getting it, Pete! That said, yes, the VC textures look oddly bright, and the pillar area around the side windows looks as if it's untextured. Like there was a missing reference to a common texture folder, or something in that vein. Or maybe a funky cockpit lighting/PBR issue. Hopefully gets sorted, as this is one I'm keen on. dl
