On some models in my dealings with all the conversions I've done. If the model doesn't have two separate, i.e. a separate exterior and interior model it wont show up in P3Dv4.5. It isn't always the case, but largely this has been my experience moving some FSX, but nearly all FS9 stuff is this way. So when you convert the exterior, if it doesn't have an interior, you have to either merge out the interior model from the base or sub/model merge another aircraft's interior model and subsequent panel to it.

what I know about this Clipper is what I have seen on the net, youtube and forum posts, developers own images and posts. I almost never buy anything until the dust settles as a general rule. Nothing is ever really ready for release when it's released. My opinion had only to do with the way the Boeing was received out of the gate. Some planes are just a bit TOO iconic I think. The availability of living examples is relevant to my mind because you are more likely as a developer to gain access to recent and real world photo's and videos in high resolution, as well as more recent and useful pilot accounts. You are right to ask if I owned this one - I do not yet. But if you made the assumption that if I had I would be ok with the discourse I've seen? not so much. Even when there's...

All good, the total tonnage of what I don't know would sink the Big-E. But the more I tinker the more I learn, and I'm always hoping to stumble on to something and chip in. I've started to have as much fun digging in to the sim as flying.

Don, I still piddle on the older models I have. But the hobby has priced itself out of my meager income. Even the paints are too expensive for me. And given the fact that about everything plastic is either from a PRC concern or molded in the PRC for even USA concerns, that just grip my buttocks! I spend more time working now with MSFS doing scenery and liveries. Cazzie

I have updated this aircraft with a new 2D cockpit panel and new gauges by Aussie. The cockpit frames are screen captured from his P-40B aircraft, then it was modified by me. You need to use the gauges from Aussie's P-40B aircraft. Duplicate the P40B.gau into P40E.gau. I need to use some fake toggle switches in the 2D cockpit panel. Aussie is going to build some new fake toggle switches for this aircraft later. Install the AW P-40_Attitude.gau in the CFS2/Gauges folder. Original designer is Alphasim. I have also painted two new paint schemes for this aircraft. You can download it now. Have fun!

I'd try those Panel bitmaps provided by Uncletgt and Kdriver. I like their thinking and they been up and down the hollow enough to know their way out in the dark. what stumps me is supposedly nothing changed they were working like a bargirl in a Pattya A-go-go bar and now they crash like some old timer on Viagra who shouldn't be fooling with girls in his condition to start with. If you did change something than that's likely it and yes it's the plane if it's in free flight.

It makes the window disappear, already tried that. I managed to get all but the objects window to resize toi my liking. How? Danged if I know? I just kept clicking the window until it appeared to move, then moved the bottom up to where there was a grab handle in the lower right to resize the window. All did so except the Objects window, I could never get that. However, I was able to use the Objects window and get what I wanted, which was the restaurant at KMTV in Martinsville, VA that went missing from my original package for the airport. Cazzie

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FS 2004 Civilian Props Description: This rebuild of the stock FS2004 Piper Cub. New fuselage and wings UV mapping to fix the lousy texture mapping. The Clipped Wing Cub has removes around 40 inches from the roots of each wing and make the Cub more acrobatic. With the model being made for FS04 (or FSX) all of the virtual cockpit's clickable switches and things like that should be working. Key frame animations are used and a good number of the animations are done. Model is Multi LOD. Also works in my copy of FSX Gold. I'm not a FS04 or FSX person so if change need to be made feel free to do so. To check it out, rate it or add comments, visit Piper J-3 Clipped Wing Cub The comments you make there will appear in the posts below.
