Update: I have now fully recovered/rebuilt/re-mastered all of my aircraft that I lost in my data crash. Milton's Tigercat, which was never published, was the last one to finish before I begin releasing all of my work, including the models I have upgraded at the request of Manfred Jahn. It has been a long and painstaking process, but worth it in the end as all of the models are now actually much better than the originals that were lost. Now I am ready to begin uploading the open betas over the course of the next few days...baring internet outages due to weather or other nefarious reasons. A teaser for your enjoyment. This is a short night color study featuring the Milton Shupe Grumman F7F Tigercat which I have now completed and will release for FSX, P3Dv3, V4 and for Prepar3Dv5....

Shalom and greetings all my pals, I am totally perplexed by pound weight of cargo load of DC-4s and Carvairs in both freeware CalClassics and payware Flight Replicas model bases. According to real world Buffalo Airways website, their DC-4 can carry 20,000 pounds of cargo load. In the payware model base, I tried to take off using both DC-4 and Carvair with 50 percent fuel load using full cargo load of 9,500 lbs as seen on this figure below which failed to climb after shaky take off and crashed on ground. max_number_of_stations = 6 station_load.0 = 950, 10, 0, 1

Good morning, I just wanted to let everyone know that I am largely stepping away from SOH for a couple of months. The student teaching practicum for my Master's degree begins this Wednesday on 27 January, and will not end until Friday, 19 March. Given the demands I will have on my time with this and my capstone class, I don't think I will have any chance to work on CFS2 for the foreseeable future, quite frankly. This is the primary reason why I handed off control of the library and the CFS2 forum to the three amigos. I knew this was coming up. Catch you on the flip side!

Hello! I've been through the library a bit and haven't turned up anything, so I guess I'll just ask. Has anyone done a texture of Sue Parish's pink P-40 for Flight Replica's P-40N? I have the very wonderful version done by Trucker17 for A2A's P-40C but would like it better on the N as that is what she flew.

I recently had my membership account on Sim Outhouse blocked by administration. Their reason...a malicious member had given admin false information about me. The action was purely a political cheap shot stunt, perpetrated by the malicious member, against my person. At present, my membership has been unbanned...with no retraction, apology nor explanation from admin. They simply unblocked my account leaving in their wake a trail of dead links to my former contributions. As a result of this action ALL of my contributions to this site, which I have posted over nearly a decade, have been blocked. This work represents thousands of hours of my work that I offered to members at no charge nor obligation. I have supported this site with yearly contributions and a sizable archive of my...

A few days ago, I noticed stuttering in MSFS. I began trying to find the source of it, starting with uninstalling whatever sceneries, addons I had in my Community Folder. No change I called Microsoft. They were useless. Did not suggest anything that I hadn't already tried. When I booted MSFS, 9 times out of 10, the sim just froze during startup. Just wouldn't complete loading. And if it DID actually complete loading, it would take a long time to actually choose a aircraft, load the scenery, and be on the runway, and then the lag time was so bad, I would have to shut the sim down via Task Manager. So I decided the problem had to be with Microsoft. I bought MSFS AGAIN through Steam. Took all night to download it all. Got everything installed and attempted to do my first...

Hi Folks, The next in Chris Lampard's electronic aircraft factory, a Martin A-30 Baltimore MkV. Great looking aircraft, and he's made a superb job of this. Lots of animations, beautiful VC, excellent textures, one of those little forgotten but important ac of WWII. Still being tweaked at this time...but soon..;) Cheers Shessi

Fun model ....huge plane with originally really small graphics. I've done a few in the past...so this time decided to rework the graphics from 1024 res to something bigger/cleaner. There are some repaints around in 4096, however there's more to a paint than just the paint. This model has specs, bumps, and 'light', not just paint/alpha. First step was to chase all the model openings to be mapped per-pixel....and only the doors were pretty right. Nothing much in the 'windows' or nose opening were done, and the biggest issue was the 4 times too big bumps that made the model/plane look small...like an Airfix kit. So ... I redid all the linework as a single pixel at 4096 .... chasing the seams in the model map. 2 weeks later I'm just about done with the fuselage...and better part of...

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Aircraft - British Description: BK Short S23 Empire for CFS2 by UncleTgt This is a conversion of Jens B. Kristensen's Short S23 Empire Flying Boat for CFS 2. Due to the complex nature of the revision this is uploaded as a complete aircraft, but the design credits lie with all of the various creators, mainly Jens B. Kristensen. This package represents the early shorter-ranged S23 Empire, with an endurance of 5 - 5.5 hours, & the airfile reflects this.

In another SOH thread regarding a G V mod, there are posts with modifcations for Ken Carson's FSX AI Gulfstream G650 that make it flyable in both FSX and P3Dv4 with PBR. While difficult to upload a complete aircraft - I have some payware bits - I can offer the following DIY kit and happy to answer questions and help with issues. The exterior FSX model is via the AIG link on this site: https://fsai-repaints.com/?cat=265 The VC I use is included in this CRJ download: https://www.rikoooo.com/downloads/viewdownload/16/876 NB: you will need to do the usual VC merge procedure. Repaints (Google is your friend) in various places including here:https://oneclickhangar.com/forum/index.php?topic=2135.0 I am also uploading a zip file containing:
