Hi Pete, my apologies, yes you are correct - and it was you who kindly uploaded the FS9 & FSX versions of the Swallow II earlier. To be fair, though, I have used a "standard" text to upload 3 different aircraft packages to SOH, simviation and flightsim. Unlike the original package uploaded by you, one of them incorporates extra repaints for the FS9 version, as well as authentic sound files by Gary Jones, plus a vcmod file for all packages. I've also uploaded the Cirrus engine version (http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?linkid=27771&catid=201), which for many years was not on any flight sim site. My intention was not to take away from your good work - I do this for the sim, with respect to the original authors.

See post #30, above. There's a weight-and-balance issue in here somewhere. A clean aircraft flies straight, but put a load on and she keeps wanting to turn left. Probably a misplaced minus sign. There's no point in trying to email SSW. Covid. Dave

Sorry to disappoint you Mr Zippy, but I stopped skating already some time ago. And I would definitely not go skating in my underwear. Dust of your history books Priller as our joint history is much longer than just 15 years. The Habsburg Netherlands already existed from 1482 and ended in 1784 with the arrival of Napoleon. After Napoleon disappeared the alliance started to fall apart when first Luxemburg left the alliance in 1815 and in 1830 a group of Brussels noble men thought it was a good thing to leave the alliance and join France :wavey:. A pity for them was that France didn't want to have them :a1310:. Which left a deeply divided country speaking 3 different languages (when you take East- and West Flemish as only language :biggrin-new: .i Religion may have played a role in...

Hello Ivan, Thank you for your reply and suggestions! Strange... I suppose it must be a case of a different type of .mdl file that my SCASM 2.01 creates. Well, I´ll just have to have the model with non-re-SCASMable .mdl files, although I will include a SCASMable backup copy in the model directory. I looked up the wing fence, and in the case of the Curtiss Flying Boat, it seems to have served to help direct the air flow for the ailerons, preventing it from spilling sideways in a slip. Thus, in the .air file, the winglet effect will have nothing to do with this. Right now I´m getting a bit more ambitious with my gun barrels, and I´m going to see if I can make them rounder. Let´s see if my SCASM will be able to do that to the .mdl file!

Ahh, yes, i thought as much. Well, language is a living thing of course, spoken or in writing, but even if English is not my native tongue i believe we have to draw a line somewhere and that is where youngsters can't be bothered anymore to hit the spacebar after each written word. ( remarkable that he did find the comma.. ) Not that he's not right, dvj, your screenies are often mindblowing. Particularly "Hong Kong Dawn" and "The Eagle Flies At Dawn". ( Not that yours aren't wonderful too, JK. Particularly the Gina's. ) If we'd go with these socialmedia youngsters my comment would've looked like this: ...

Thanks Papi, i'll keep you in mind for the future, Im actually starting to amass quite a collection of Luftwaffe info, esp with Huubs link to Henry L. deZeng's site, there's no maps or picture's, but with some logical thinking and a google earth image, you get a pretty good idea just by the his description of the facilities

Got the 225 to invert...and check the spec on its bum. Looks like the original build was all painted...but it went metal bottom with the current commercial use. Next step is to paint the original USSR version...;)
