Was that the model that included the engine? You could remove the tail section/rear fuselage to see it.

Nice to see that so many names from the "old" days are still around, both here and at Avsim, and as you say Jan, what an amazing sim we have today! Those screenshots Ken, have convinced me to get the Bulldog too.

Flew my son and daughter to Pearl Harbor on friday for the Memorial Services over the weekend. One of the veterans here is 101 years old and was on the Oklahoma and was able to get to the Maryland after his ship was hit and before it capsized. I think there are 30 veterans of the attack here, all in their 90's or older.I have been here before and met some of the veterans that have passed.Talon talked to them more because of the work he was doing for the CFS2 Pearl Harbor Project,he also met some of Japanese that were involved in the attack. There has been rain everyday so far which makes it difficult to do everything but my son is really enjoying. It is December 6 and after 10 PM as I write this and tomorrow everything starts at 7:55 AM with the sounding of the bell that signals...

Could that feathered bird be a Monospar? Here are two pictures from a similar angle (the first one is mirrored). The Danish Monospar seems to lack the small strut from the rudder to the elevator.

It does, perfectly, just as it runs in Windows 10. For me, I've found it's actually slightly smoother than in Windows 10.

just got v2 from orbx. looks like changes are mainly good but here are the issues: 1. in VR, going from cockpit to outside view and back to cockpit, the VC pilot figures occupy both seats. only way to get rid of the figures is by getting out of VR and back in. 2. external position lights are not casting bounce on ground or aircraft surfaces, what we had before seemed better 3. wish the asobo fa18e pilot figure can be selected, it's a high def model that should look great in the f104

I may be of help to say the reason this FB Scenery package is like this is because the models used are the work of others and they have kindly made them available to be used by me and others so it is a matter of copyright and recognition of this work that I did not include the libraries. The other thing worth mentioning is that all this was done with the sim having been altered or changed to correct shorelines and coast lines using ORBX Vector and ORBX Global. Now I have reinstalled this package into P3DV5 (It used to be in FSX) as addon scenery and I have installed all the librarys on my system as well. Every Flying Boat base was created intially using ADE so that they appear as an airport in your scenery list and I have adopted a very simple naming convention of starting each one...

Don't know what the download issue was but I am reloading the file now anyway in case. Regarding the tracers, it's just a little historical touch. No tracer or armor piercing rounds were used, as they would have damaged the bullet deflector and shot off the prop. The Germans proved that when they tested the captured prop. Only softer copper jacketed bullets were used by the French. 100 rounds supplied = to 5 clips.

Two more from ground level..... The scenery is stunning, and certainly gives this Canuck a great reason to further explore the Great Lakes region.

I picked up the B314 on the last day of the sale. I havenít had a chance to try it yet, looks like fun though. I definitely like old school aviation. Looking forward to the extra seaplane bases in v5 when you them updated!

Gray Eagle Port Washington is already done. If you look at the black and white photo and then a bit further down to the screenshot you will see my rendition of Port Washinton. Hangars offices and jettys. The screenshot shows a S23 at anchor. The shoreline is not exactly the same and these days there are a few more trees, but even coastlines change over 80 years. Plum Point today is a sedate suburb with all that infrastructure including boat yards long gone. I saw from you screenshot that you were placed correctly in the location but none of the scenery objects will appear without those libraries installed as well. Way it is sorry!
