A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FS 2004 Military - Helicopters Description: The S-56 was a revolutionary helicopter. It was the first production twin-engined helicopter and one of the first helicopters with retractable landing gear. It established World Speed, Altitude and Lifting records and had some very advanced features. Developed as a heavy assault transport for the Marine Corps as the HR2S, where it acquired the nickname "Deuce" (for the 2 that differentiated its designation from its predecessor, the HRS), the Army took interest and got its simplified H-37, formally named Mojave, into service first. The H-37A entered service in 1956 and the HR2S-1 in 1957. The last CH-37B was retired from the National Guard in 1974. An AEW version was developed for...

Yes, I've been flying it with TacPack and it's a lot of fun. I'm still learning the systems. Having said that, I have a weird error with the panel, where both sides of the top section end up overlapped on the left side and the right side is just black in that top "main control" area.

The last couple of days the skies over Texas have not been kind. Groping around CB's, dodging rain and sneaking under low ceilings... On Saturday I was in IFR conditions at 800 ft when Taco commented " I just missed the guy wires on that one" - a moment later my view cleared, I looked back and saw what he meant. Then, Last night it was more of the same...

Hi Dino, Thank you for this little gem ! I have a lot of fun with it. I like it so much that I would like to do a bunch of repaints (Not as much as Matt !). I started with a plane which belongs to Draken International (N141EM). But I am bored by a detail. On the paint kit, I do no find the blade antenna which is situated just behind the second seat on the back of the plane. On the real plane that antenna is white, but mine appears green. Can you help me ? Where is it on the paint kit ? Thank you. Richard

Hi, The Dewoitine D37 V 2 series landed at the "RoyaleFrenchNavy" site. I hope you enjoy this update. The documentation is in French but there are some short videos that describe the use of this model.

:wiggle: Hey There Well, what Moses posted, in a short term the weather sucked! I was in the rain a heck of a lot, but Moses radio this over to us, "At least it's washing the bugs off." We all got down safely, on my part it was a little spookier than I thought it would be. OK, just one more flight on this part of our adventure, we will be taking Wed. off to get ready for the flight plans to be carved into stone. So see you all later. :wavey:

As I flash back to my days as a youth in 1958, I remember when I got a nice AC Gilbert erector set for Christmas. This is taken from a 1958 catalog with the price back then, I think in pristine shape it might go for ~$2K. It came with a sound set, i.e a record and a record playing mechanism powered by a 3V motor that also powered the Ferris wheel. Here is a video that I found on youtube of the sound set part of the erector set.

One of the few aircraft I bought long ago that I still enjoy flying. Cockpit could use a little updating but overall just smashing. Works fine in P3D also. i just visited Pima air museum and the B-58 is beginning to look a little weather worn. Completely polished a few years ago for a “Air and Space” magazine article it now has some major water stains (in Arizona?) but mostly a dull aluminum look. I so wish there was a Good B-58 in XP-11.
