Absolutely gorgeous repaints for the B-25J, Jankees. :applause: Thanks a lot !! I think its time to prepare my revised model for upload. But no fear, there are no modifications with the repaint textures.

The actually status on my side is, that the models has been converted to FSX native format. But there are problems with some custom 32 bit gauges, which not working with P3Dv4+. I have send Ed all my files, but havn't heard from him since. He has startet the project, so its up to him, if and what will happen. Ulrich

Hiya Browncoat, Thanks very much for bringing me up to speed about the A6Mb-t. Years ago I read his biography, "Samurai". Enjoyed it very much. Sakai was quite a guy. Cheers, MR

Hello Gents, I think Alcanallen means that they worked in Revision 1.4, but not in Revision 1.5. I've looked for these missions to try, but can't find them. Could you point me to them? Cheers.

Should be identical in behaviour to the T-38C (higher top speed/lower acceleration and turn performance due to different intakes compared to the non PMP version). Same ADV code base and systems interface.

I agree, the only way I would use a W7 system is if that was what was originally installed in it and I did not want to upgrade any hardware, but otherwise if connected to the interweb its a big security risk. Any new system or if re-installing from a blank disk go with windows 10. W7 home was a problem in that it limited you to 16 GB off ram but W10 home can use 192 GB. I use Windows 10 Home and have not had any issues with it, Pro comes with a lot of features you might need at work but you won't need for a sim computer. I am also more of a fan of Intel chips rather than AMD, I just don't trust them. 8mb is OK for FS9/FSX but those are the past. Current sims like P3Dv4 and X-Plane can take advantage of 16 or 32 GB of memory and run much smoother and defiantly need more graphics...

Yeah, forget about future proof. Designed obsolescence and all that. :pop4: As far as cooling, I'm running the Cooler MasterAir Maker 8 CPU Thermal Cooler with good results. I also installed two 200mm case (exhaust) fans above the thermal cooler to pump out the hot air. Very quiet too with those big blades. See my specs, my system runs hot enough to heat a room but still remains comfortably within tolerance if I don't overclock. If I were going to overclock, I'd look at a good water cooling system. BTW, one thing to consider with that thermal cooler is case width and memory height. Tall memory with LED will present some challenges for fan clearance. I'd go with non LED memory. I'd highly recommend a self build. I'm also on a budget and built my system out of pocket, on limited...

hi giruXX:encouragement: One of the many designs of Romanian Radu Manicatide. This is the IAR-821 model (Ichenko AI-14 radial engine) built by ICRMA (Intreprinderea de Constructii si Reparatii Materiale Aeronautice) which was later renamed as IRMA (Intreprinderea de Reparatii Materiale Aeronautice). Later versions (IAR-822, IAR-826) had a Lycoming O-540.

Future proof?? Phooey! No computer hardware is future proof. For best results with FSX etc, Intel and nVidia have been preferred and you have to see what your beloved will stand. Id suggest going for reasonably fast components throughout the system, including an SSD drive for much speedier storage. That way you should be in with a chance of running the new MS sim when it comes out. Also you can never have too much memory, so get 16gb as a working minimum. Fancy cooling systems are only really needed if you build a complete hot-rod

Yes it was a great air show but so hot on the field.... Very unfortunate that the spitfire PRXI PL983 had a landing gear failure on EHHV Midden zeeland. And B17 Sally B and a real Me109 were unable to come due to problems. We were very fortunate to have so many warbirds attending this show in the Netherlands. Now waiting for the Market Garden celebrations near Arnhem, always a great spectacle! Paul flying from EHHV
