Just a small point of interest here: These paints -- much appreciated as they are -- won't work on the PBR-enabled SWS F-4s for P3Dv4.5/5. The model mapping has completely changed. I'm sorry that some people can't enjoy the Milviz F-4s. My only issue is that the aircraft CG seems to be set too far aft (about where an aircraft parachute would be?). Large inputs of node-down trim on startup, and she behaves -- for me, anyway. Dave

From Simviation: Nothing to do with your browsers & Defender is actually a very good AV. Better than most freeware AV's. This is due to some moron at our DNS hosting company who changed a setting without knowledge nor was it requested. Complaint made and being fixed now. Rest assured there is zero risk in using simviation.

Not really that scarey, but definitely highlights exactly why I want the P-61 in this simulator..

I made the Aero 7A pylons, MER-7 (A/A37B-6) & TER (A/A37B-5) bomb racks and the LAU-7/A Zuni pods in Blender. Someone (a well known pro) is now converting them to 3DS Max for me ..... so my hope is that Sylvain should have them within a week or so. Regarding the panel lines.... the plastic model lines were totally incorrect. The actual Crusader pylon has piano hinges that are for three doors on the left side of the pylon and two doors on the right side. Unfortunately I couldn't find any detailed pictures or drawings of them (despite having the F-8 Tactical Manual and the F-8 Crusader Safety, Survival, and Ordnance Systems Parts Flight Manual) so I did the best I could based on the few pictures I could find. This is how things were looking at about 80% done. They actually look much...

Thanks, John I'm just trying to pay homage to the history of aviation and it's Golden Age - as written here in America by the people at the bleeding edge of its earliest and most incredible expansion. Somehow these stories of Lockheed, Travel Air, Wedell Williams, the Granville Bro's, Jimmy Doolittle, Wiley Post, and so many others have not been widely told. I know this forum consists of aviation enthusiasts - some who know these names and some who may know only their names - who can appreciate these projects. This isn't to say there were only inventors, aviators, and engineers here in the States doing this work - obviously it was a global human effort as can be seen by the list of contestants and aircraft mfgs. entered into and often winning in the various air races and in the...

Many moons ago (about 2006) Silvia Borja (aka piloto azul) did produce a Loire 210 for CFS2. Unfortunately it is payware and she is long gone from the flightsim scene. Gavin

Excellent looking Concorde - I still use FSX and so I will be keeping my eye on this one thanks! As a boy I repainted my Airfix Concorde into a what if - a camouflaged troop transport. Two-green, one brown upper surfaces with a grey underside, separated by a wavy line, similar to that which I'd seen on B-52s a la Vietnam (they had black undersides) (I don't think I realised about supersonic flight heating up the paint, especially darker shades). I installed (glued! ) a pair of droptanks on the underside of the rear fuselage in a similar position to the ventral fins of an F-16.

Yep, you're right dang it :banghead: I should have had you proof read it before I uploaded it. It should read: 14.2.b) For the Afnor_bases folder, take the files found in this package and copy them into the CFS2/SCENEDB/Afnor_bases folder you already have from installing the Correction for the download has been done. Corrected instruction sheet for those who already have the download part 1 file:

Nschley, This actually has already been done to a large extent. In The Tuskegee Airmen, Devildog73 did the lands at Anzio and Salerno, and the missions involving Corsica, to an extent, are covered by Captain Kurt's 82nd Fighter Group and my Beaus in the Sand Campaign, although Dragoon is not addressed specifically in either campaign. That being said, the required scenery along that section of France, airbases and the harbors of Marseille and Toulon, have already been done, including the GSL work by Dombral and myself, so the only real work required would be to select the aircraft and ships, then build the missions.

I have Libardo Guzman's Concorde. Great exterior, VC alright but not enough to do. I also have FSLAB's Concorde-X. Fantastic exterior, VC and a great study level sim. So great you almost need a friend as a full time FE as doing it all by yourself is too much like work! (I still can't go supersonic in it. I can't get the fuel balanced fast enough to trim the plane.) I'm sure yours will slot perfectly between those two! Looking forward to it! (Loving the F-15 too BTW!) You say it's not military for a change, but you could do a military scheme for it as it was looked at as a basis for a bomber version. (I've seen touched up photos in anti-flash white carrying a pair of Blue Steels But I bet the green/grey wraparound camo would look good on it!)

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FSX Civilian Props Description: The Super Pacer is a Highly Modified Piper PA-20 Pacer. While most Pacers are known as "Clipped Wing Pipers" this one has had longer Super Cub wings added as well as larger flaps, Tougher Super Cub Landing Gear with tundra Tires and a Power plant upgrade to 180 HP. This makes the plane a terrific Bush Aircraft giving more payload and room than a Super Cub with almost the same performance. Version 2 with Specular shine and Reflective textures enabled This model of the Super Pacer is made with FSDS 2.24 and updated using Model Converter X to bring it up the the Native FSX format. May work in Prepared 3D (tested in P3D v1.4) later versions may need Gauge work. To check it out, rate it or add...

A bit of a different release sometime within the next month or so - not a combat airplane, but as I've always shared my projects here I thought I'd share some images of this one as it's slowly now reaching some degree of readiness for testing with the Just Flight team. Not study-level, FSLabs have that covered, but plenty of system depth for those who enjoy their button pushing This will be the last project that I release that will support FSX / FSX Steam, due to it just becoming too difficult to build for multiple platforms, especially now that MSFS is just around the corner. The MSFS version of Concorde will be completely re-modeled and textured to take advantage of the new sim's greater fidelity. Enjoy, and stay safe everyone!
