I can already feel the difference in my road car with E10. Power down, fuel consumption goes up and the engine doesn't run as well when idle. Even though E5 is more expensive I will keep using it.

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category P3D / P4D Add-Ons - Helicopter repaints Description: Heres another repaint for the MPDesign Alouette III in high vis scheme used for antarctic operations. It entered service with the Comando de Aviacion Naval Argentina on October 31st 1969 and crashed March 4th 1979 during a SAR mission on Smith Island, Antarctica (Information from Helis.com) I made the repaint using the paintkit from MPDesign. I hope you like it. Tested only in P3D5 but should work down to FSX. Dan "Blaunarwal"

Great rendition of the P-51D with the mods in 1.05. I can certainly fly it by the book. Well worth the money. P-51D over southern Los Angeles. (I used to flying this area alot in real life.) :adoration:

A different approach as a trial: set the camera up to take a burst of seven bracketing shots, run them through 'Photomatix Pro' just to see what comes out. Once again I'm using my 'close to home' venue. Still a WIP but it adds another dimension to a small bag of skills! :encouragement:

Thank you, Robert. And I'm pleased to have expanded your knowledge, Huub. As to your clue, Robert, that would have been the other René Leduc and his ramjets. The RL.21 is extant. It belongs to Aeroscope Atlantique at Nantes. But since they lost their display premises, last year, the RL-21 has been on display at Espace Air Passion at Angers-Marcé. On to the next mystery. I'm surprised that it hasn't yet made an appearance here - but a search of the thread indicates that it is a débutant.

I think it's great that Dino has placed works that he no longer wishes to support into freeware status instead of just deleting them from future availability.

Jan - I did my setup the way it is suggested at the A-4 Community webpage https://08jne01.github.io/community-a4e-c/ . They direct you to install file(s) to C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\Aircraft I don't run Steam, so no comment re Steam, but this worked for me when I installed the T-45. Last evening I did carrier approaches with the F/A-18, T-45 and A-4. The best experience (also most expensive) is the F/A-18. It has great HUD and HUD symbology (like the velocity vector) along with MFDs that are easily visible and can be configured to be of great help in the pattern (I use HSI and HUD on my MFDs). Its is solid in the pattern and on approach when properly configured. I believe auto flaps is one of the reasons for its solid feel. The T-45 is difficult for a couple...

To be honest I had never heard of the aircraft. But it looked like a post war Caudron-Renault C450 replica to me. The tail is very similar to the Caudron. And even the blue-white-red band of the French champion was painted on it. The "modern" aircraft in the back told me it was a post war plane. So I have learned something new again today :biggrin-new: Cheers, Huub

Brilliant, downloading now :) P51 currently my favourite aeroplane, just need to find a few more in MP... PRB - MSFS creates a virtual file system at runtime, merging Official and Community aircraft at the Simobjects level, so it's actually like FSX of old - you just need to go up two, specify the target folders within the other aircrafts Simobjects folder But the AH sounds are growing on me, I especially like the airframe buffet sounds whilst manoeuvring so I know when I'm pushing the edges :)

We now have an upgrade out for the P51D. Changelog: 1. Fuel gauge corrections to show correct amount of fuel. 2. Altitude needle maths changed to correctly indicate 10000 , 1000 , 100 ft increments. 3. Addition of the missing repaint texture - Factory used 4. Addition of a super chrome restored texture. 5. Settings for the stock Asobo jet fighter bone dome pilot ( readme found in the documentation folder). 6. Added the missing page to the manual on the take off procedures.

After a few flights the Twin Otter grows on you and for me the sounds are 90% OK if you fly it 'right'. But you can easily try other sounds (if you can access aircraft.cfg) eg for the 300 Wheels Pax find the line in Sound="\..\..\AS_Aircraft_DHC6_Common\sound" and change the AS_Aircraft_DHC6_Common to another aircraft eg the Asobo_KingAir350 Sound="\..\..\Asobo_KingAir350\sound" Now you can compare original and alternate sounds just by swapping liveries.

It is the Leduc RL.21. :encouragement: A clue would have been that the designer shares his name with another designer who was pioneer in a certain kind of jet propulsion. :very_drunk: Over to you, Mike. :icon29:
