I have i9-10900f and 2070 super and, from what I see in your screenshot, the gain in FPS is marginal. Overclocking the GPU could be, maybe, a better solution.

Then again a turning fight in a 109 is always in invitation to that. Are you planning on doing other P-40 models as well? Slow and easy does it.

P-47D Thunderbolt Development Report We will be introducing two expansions to DCS: P-47D Thunderbolt. The P-47D-30 (Early) modification will become available; equipped with a Mark 8 gunsight, an earlier version of the control stick and throttle lever, as well as modified bomb dropping mechanics. From the exterior, the model is easily distinguishable due to the absence of the fin strake in the upper fuselage.

So there are a ton of them but amount them are a all new build of the beech18 and 17. A brand new do335, Norsman, Il2 727, a few jet fighters. Machi WW2 fighter. A killer zero. A Betty bomber a dc4 and more. They are in pretty crazy detail and I would make new ones for Fsx and p3d as well with all the bells and whistles. My favorite is a killer Spad! Dh2 Some German bombers and a bf110. Quite a list. I forgot we were doing half of these.

Steam auto updates, did you leave your computer running with Steam active in the background? And, yeah, I don't think there's any meat to having to move out the Community files. It's a completely different directory that should not be touched by their install process. If they are they're stupid. And they're not. My bet is people have modified files in the OneStore directory, and that screwed up their install. (p.s. I hate how the quote function is so hit or miss on this board. It fails like 25% of the time for me.)

WIP.This is the RAF Buffalo. There are USN paints, Dutch paints and now a Finnish paint (Dom posted a shot of that in in the thread "what did you fly today" over on x-plane org). The last build I had had a switch that changed features of the external model between the RAF B339E and USN F2A-2. Dom is now working on an additional switch option for the Finnish paint. I will show some of the others when I get the next build. This is the default repaint...488sq RNZAF, Squadron Leader Noel Sharp, Singapore 1941. Matt

Agreed (about swear words). Not something I think is really funny or care about seeing. Then again, I'm 57, not 12-15... sigh As far as trees, heck, trees around me (NE, USA) reach thirty feet tall in 20 years, the general canopy around me (deciduous/coniferous) is easily 30 ft to 50 ft tall. 12 to 15 foot tall trees would only be found in a nursery, or approaching the treeline on a mountain.

I have the model flying fine in FSX with acceleration. I have added extra textures with no problem but with the added textures I can't get the payload configurator to work. It works fine with the original textures. Any suggestions? Regards Paul Day.

I wonder how guns mounted on a plane fit in with the "no weapons" policy? For instance, let's say the barrels are modeled on a P-40 protruding from the wing. Would that be a problem? Can the system to fire those guns be modeled? The gunsight? And, yeah, that does seem weird given all their weapon oriented games they sell.

The airplane saw service with 6 different countries not including Germany. My guess is that it was at the discretion of either the livery artist, the developer or both in concert as to what liveries they would do for a release package. There is no requirement that every country be represented and I'm sure it was not a snub to the Italian Air Force (they utilized two 149 D's for two years (53'-55'). Make your desires known to Andrey and possibly he can add it to the MS2020 release.

Anyone using the Steam version around here ? Would you believe i have the patch installed and running without doing anything about it or even knowing about it.... :icon_eek: Didn't touch MSFS after the 16th of september because of all the negative comments about the 1830 patch. Thought i'd wait a few days and then run MSFS see what happens, then go to Steam and see what's up there about MSFS and the new patch. Didn't need to because when i loaded up MSFS today i immidiately noticed the much faster loading that i read about and when i clicked my game name there it was : Also read that when the altitude knob in the Baron (that must be Bonanza, right ? AFAIK we have no Baron in MSFS. I wish we would! (with steam gauges please that is)) works i have the 1830 patch. And...

Service Ceiling was tested yesterday. Altitude is that at which the aircraft can maintain 100 FPM climb rate at an indicated air speed equal to that for best climb. Testing is attempted with as close to 50% fuel as was practical. The La-5FN carries 122 Gallons of useable fuel. Testing was started with 65% fuel at 29,500 feet. The aeroplane tended to be quite sensitive to the amount of remaining fuel. Once I figured out the amount of fuel likely to be expended in the test, it became quite easy to get fairly consistent results.
